After you watch qualifying, walk a block northeast of the stadium and stop by Harry and Izzy's for one of their world famous shimp cocktails. No visit to Indy is complete without it, IMO.

A couple years ago I promised myself I would try and fly out and hit a race outside of my normal circle at least once a year. Did the MXON at Red Bud, and now tomorrow I'm hopping my ass on a 737 and headed to Indy. First time seeing an East Coast SX race. Then back home and driving up the road to Seattle. See you all out there!!!!

This is what happens when you have almost all of the first 5 races in the same state....STOP GOING TO CALIFORNIA SO MUCH. I guarantee all my downvotes are from CA. Its just facts people. Open stadiums don't agree with mother nature.

My dealer stocks champion WP2, they swear by it as does another 40yr moto mechanic (family friend). I run that just for ease of use when I go in the dealer to BS every couple of saturday's.

Have you ever priced up a rebuild on a 4 stroke ? An average rider won’t wear a 250 2 stroke out anytime quick. I race a 250 sx & these bikes are very strong in the engine department. 4 strokes have so many more moving parts, it just cost more. At pro level running a 250f would be very expensive.

When Eli first turned pro I was instantly digging the first win and the way he would go into early versions of beast mode. When he got into the 450 class and was a legit threat to Dungey and most times faster I was still pulling for Dungey to win the championships. After Dungey retired I was ready to watch Eli dominate SX/MX for the foreseeable future but he started to have the freak Eli things happen and took way too long to get his first SX title. Yea I feel dumb for thinking Eli had nothing for Chase. After watching Chase catch and pass him these last few times I figured Eli just couldn't do it. Was a pretty pleasant surprise to see him drop the hammer and get after it. Really should not have even been a surprise, though.

Electric bikes should be the least of our worries by 2035. Electrical curfews, blackouts and sky high utility bills are just the tip of the ice berg. Californians, you think the drought is bad now? Wait until they’re using 500,000 gallons of grade A H2O to mine these batteries. And let’s not forget about the 10 year life span, and the amount of batteries in landfills, landfill fires and who knows what else.
