The lap by Eli was un-fucking-believable!

Not once all season have we seen any even borderline rough racing.
Just clean, super fast , ludicrous speed. All year.
This has been a master class by these two.
The top riders have proven the last years that they can race clean and fair instead of doing dirty riding.
The fastest you'll ever feel is on a 125 on a track with good lines where you can just lean it and rail corners.
I'm glad there are 2 riders so closely matched, like before JS7 RC would just check out and meh for the moto and clenching early.
Next week the winner takes all and its funking fenominal!
Pit Row
Now that you mention it though do you think it is strange that Justin Cooper often qualifies 2 or 3 or even more seconds faster than he can race?
I'm not 100 percent convince chase and eli have taken another gear.
I reckon 2021 df would have beat these 2.
Eli is similar speed to previous years.
Chase has stepped up.
Anderson isn't much faster then previously.
Look at Kenny if his 1st 4 laps is the same speed as 2016 speed but he cannot maintain it. Then 2016 Kenny would blow these guys away.
This battle is amazing but I don't think these guys are on some jesus level. Same eli better chase and no other good competition makes these guys look like they have found a new level.
One thing for sure, if Chase had not stepped it up Eli would have won the title already in a cakewalk. Even if Eli does not win it is very impressive for his first year on the YZ.
I'm saying if 2022 Kenny in the 1st 3-4laps is the speed Kenny had pre injury. But he could carry that speed the whole moto. Better stamina. Then 2016 Kenny would smoke these 2. Even in 2022 Kenny could have a claim for being the fastest on the track. But only for 7-8 minutes.
I know comparing races isn't accurate.
But the 250 guys for the whole moto is pretty comparable to the 450s. Not just 1 lap. Both moto 1 races this weekend. The 1st place in the 250s. His first 11 laps were all faster then Eli's. Then had a lead so didn't have to push.
Last year I feel like df was consistently faster then the 250s.
But comparing both classes isn't perfect. But it's the only thing we can compare.
1 when guy is winning they get a 10sec lead and don't have to push.
So this year's racing is great but I don't think they are on a level way above previous champions who were not pushed.
To see these 2 ride at this level and consistency and keep the series this close is epic. As fan's we are so lucky to be able to watch this.
