End of an era. Absolutley grateful to have seen so many great races in person over the years and meeting Eli a few times. Legendary career he has had himself and man, moto just isn’t going to be the same without him. Happy he gets to spend more time with his family now. Cheers to Eli.

I've kind of looked at each year since '23 as a bonus. When he first went to Star it sounded like it was already in his mind. Then after a couple tough injuries, it was cool to see that he was determined to come back and give it a run, when healthy. It's very odd how he looked so good early in SX, this year, and then kind of really went downhill and looked lost. Then obviously it was a shame to see him get hurt early in MX this year. He hasn't looked himself, but there was progress here...

It would truly be an honor for us plebeians to help fund a bunch of millionaires race their dirt bikes in front of thousands of adoring fans in countries we can’t afford to visit. Lucky us!

Like my 300SX, very tuneable...by a specialist, not in your area. No choice! The ePV mapping is a key to powerband character. Hooks up better out of turns, no gnar hit mid sweepers. Back to back with a YZ250, 300SX so much better in every aspect. And as easy to ride as my YZ250F, lighter too. KX likely gonna be as heavy as a 450.

The 300 is 10/10.

I had a 300 and have ridden my buddy’s 250. They are very similar the main difference is the 300 hits harder off idle but falls flat before the 250. The 250 has more of a traditional 250 stroke power output. Boggy off idol and then hits harder in the midrange and will pull harder on top all the way to the rev limiter. Couple things… I think Tomac got more attention this year than he really likes… returning veteran champ past 30, new team, new bike, winning four races out the gate, lappergate where Roczen, Lawrence and others complained but Tomac took the brunt of the criticism from the road blocks fans, toothgate, he did get sick- you could hear it in the interviews a few weeks back - hence more press examination. there was that short post-race interview he did (can't remember exactly where- too much content to review to find it) where he was upbeat and said he was looking forward to getting after it the next 5 races or similar. Reading between the lines there it tells you there has been something going on but it's been managed and his timeline for recovery is about here and he'll be attempting to be back to competing hard again.
