My money is burning a hole in my wallet. This bike can't come out soon enough. Looks like I'll also be picking up some new DID silver rims and a blue seat cover.
Are finishing shops able to re-anodize fork legs like the bright blue in the AI slop image below? (edit looks like it can be done!)
NGL - that hit's me with some serious nostalgia, you need to get a Uni-Trak sticker for the swingarm like the 50th anniv. ones:
I'm sure you can get those fork legs anodized easily enough
Just machined, or machined billet hubs?

There's something to be said about a "New" bike that features nothing new other than it's green and coming from a manufacture that has not produced a full sized 2stk in years. Kawasaki manufactured excitement over technology that's been around for years and added 30cc's 😴 😴 😴
The media will probably tout the bike as "What we wanted from Yamaha for years". IMO this is a perfect example of how stagnate the dirt bike market really is.
I bet you’re fun at parties.
Be nice to see real pictures. Surely there are production representative bikes out there.
In their description, it seems early every description of the engine focuses on trail riding. Makes sense for the X, but it even says that when mentioning both bikes. Wonder how long we now have to wait for more info?
They went from saying they would be all electric by 2035 to building a new 2 stroke so that is exciting!!!!!!
What would you have liked to see with the 2 stroke Kawasaki's?
Both can be true.
Any news or mentions about the 327 here lately? I know it will probably be another 4-5 months before we start seeing them but you gotta figure some test rides are either happening now or soon.
no bikes to test ride, like you said, 4 to 5 months
Longtime dealer mentioned that he was told production starts early October to be available December. He was also told that it would be pre-wired for lights like the 450X.
September
On the Title 24 podcast RV mentioned that he is shooting a video on the new 327 right after LL. I’m guessing we see the video end of August or early September. Not much need to hurry on a hype video since the first year models are pretty much sold out already. Lots of deposits on them all over the US.
My dealer told me December initially but hopefully sooner than that!
Heck yes man, that's beautiful.
Probably 2 yrs to the date 1-25-2027
You’ll see a Stew Baylor video within a month or so. You may even see it raced by another rider at a GNCC by the end of the season.
Pit Row
Are we going to see a shootout with the Beta 350 and 300 SX?
I'll say upfront I don't think we'll ever see a lap time comparison shootout with the 450s.
There are some KTM 300sx vs. 450 sxf lap time comparisons out there.
I saw a beta with enduro lights flying around the MX track last week.
Team Green Dealers = December
Non Team Green = March
Well, that's quite late for a '27.
I cant stand how next year models are released so early. Always aggravated me from cars to dirtbikes. First world problems.
I actually never gave the forks a second thought, probably because the bike as a whole was so AWESOME! 😁
With just about every brand, if its BNG in comes out mid year. If its a new model or updated its usually later in the year.
well, forget about the year, just focus on new bikes each summer/fall. Problem solved
What model Beta do your ride?
Looking at Beta for my next ride. Trails will be my main area of interest.
I actually had Tom Morgan build me a 327 Kawi in 2002.
I still prefer the rpm range of 4-strokes.
I have a 350 RR Race edition. I absolutely love it, minus some electrical issues.
Post a reply to: Kawasaki is bringing the two stroke back!
