When they sent it down for a monologue, she was at least next to the track with riders going by in the background. That was an improvement. Baby steps…

MotoGp, American Flattrack

They are on tv? I though you had to pay for Motogp site to get any of it.

Lawl. If people couldn't complain about something, I don't know what they'd do with themselves.

2 cans of Viennies warming on the dash of the truck next to a sleeve of saltines?

What's not to love.

Not in my area. Every MotoGP is on my normal cable package as well AFT. AFT is a delayed broadcast though , never live. Both series for years though.

I can watch, all Australian and Canadian series on youtube for free and it has better race coverage.  Having the mindset to not improve is something I will never understand.  It is vey freaking simple.  Obvious mistakes over and over again with easy fixes.  It is the lack of giving a shit that matters to me.  Simple improvements mean progress and showcasing our sport in the best way possible. Simple as that

I liked when the drone crashed into the tree. Too much drone and split screen, as usual. It will never improve with the current people in place. I hate it.

The drone will eventually hit a rider, won't it?

Yes, eventually. Soon we'll have 15 drones showing 15 split screens simultaneously with incorrect labels of who is battling in each box.

And she couldn’t finish it because she learned the first lap is more exciting than her canned story.

Will Bondo learn from it? No.

I cannot imagine anybody want any part of the jobs that they do all they do. I doubt there's a big line of experts.

I expect you will receive a cease-and-desist letter from team green in the near future.

Your thread title, while cleaned up into a G-rated version, is too similar to his trademarked post ending.

Sometimes, I want to complain about the television production. Because I’ve become spoiled.

Not long ago we all had to “listen” to the race, on the internet. The AOL Chats…….

You are still allowed to complain about it. Because honestly,  the broad cast is good, but it's just small things that would cost zero dollars to fix. For example, quit showing people that are non riders off the track. Like when it cut to Katie standing beside the track while the race was going on... I want to see the racing, not Katie. It would have cost zero dollars to not cut to her.. It's just continuous B.S. like that that is so frustrating.

We have to sell tickets and streaming packages to ADHD people and this is the only way, unfortunately. They've ruined everything.

I really don't get most of the broadcast complaints. I was stoked to be able to see Coenen blow through the pack, I've seen the Lawrences hold a 2 second gap a million times. Is every shot/decision exactly what I want to see? No, but the vast majority of the time it's something a different paying customer wants to see.

Let yourself enjoy the racing a little more!

You think the Australian and Canadian series have better coverage than AMA racing? Well there goes all your credibility. The coverage is great. Broadcast is great. commentating is great. storylines are great. The app is maybe a bit expensive, but compared to most sports apps, it's not that bad. Have you tried signing up as a guest on The View?

Fix the idiot responsible for camera selection. That’s 50% of the issue right there.

And Weege and JS… they could help the director by telling them that they should focus on a brewing battle on track just like Paul Malin does it.

But Weege just keeps blabbering on what’s in front of him instead of keeping track of the big picture of the race.

Sure, but other sports have employees that are spotters, keeping the production team updated on the developing action… and I am pretty sure they could get motofans to do this work for free.

No doubt they are missing the required number of spotters and this is probably a cost savings measure or it's just the way they've always done it. Probably would run into union issues if they tried to use free labor knowing how most broadcast production crews work, especially in the Northern states.

Even in the most union friendly states, positions like production assistants are not usually unionized. And as I mentioned, they could easily recruit volunteers from the moto community.

The whole point is, even if they’re broadcasting from a trailer without spotters, you can see where the battles are developing by simply watching the timing. It shouldn’t be that hard!
