I will be the forst to say when you get a good one or the fixes work and hold up their great bikes. Ive got to put a couple hours on a 250 and 450(450 i did the bottom end on for a guy) Their great bikes just sucks they are still having these issues. So far as ive heard everyone that I know that has had a rebuild and repair done to them have held up. But there does seem to be a few new ones popping up still. Idk but once they get this ironed out it will...

I have a number of different pressure washers (gas, elec, etc).. but wanted something lighter, easy to pack in the trailer, no gas..etc. I bought this Ryobi from HomeDepot - Had low expectations but for $100 was worth the risk. Since buying it, I havent touched any of my other pressure washers- This thing works great. Its easy to drag around, super light and packs up in to a small tote. I use it for everything- washing the bikes, cars, boat, sidewalks..etc.. At the track it runs off a small quiet generator. I see a lot of them at the...

Maybe some bike problems?? In the main he got a crap jump but you could see his holeshot device was stuck all the way around the first turn. He did a couple wheelies trying to release it.

"saying things like "all bikes have a false nutral now and then " whats the point of saying that?" I never said that. I said I've hit neutral on just about all "my" bikes at least once. Mis-shift. Everybody who's ever rode has done it before. It's when it happens over and over or when it just jumps out of...

Lol...for some reason I don't think Triumph is worried about you and what you think. Probably more along the line of what other people reading this thread think; who is this guy? You obviously have a lot of time available.

"I wonder if the dealership put something back together wrong." Lol...ya think. I can say is I have about 11 hrs on my 26 TF450X and haven't had an issue. No missed shifts, no unexpected neutral, no clutch problems - nothing. If anything about the transmission I'd say it's tough to find neutral sometimes while stopped with the clutch in...

I agree and with all due respect to my fellow Vitards who bitch and moan on a weekly basis, come on dudes, there are way worse things going on in life than to get yourself riled up over Ricky gargling his words.

So while quitting he’s beating guys with 15 years more sx experience than him, got it. And while quitting finished 6th overall in Mx last year. Rest of the field sounds like a bunch of losers comparatively if such a trash quitter is beating them so handily? Maybe the truth is somewhere between the extremes…

I’ve had good luck with RMATV primary chain/sprocket kit. To be honest I was a little skeptical at first because the complete kit is about 100 bucks. Now I’ve been through about 5 sets without issues. For piece of mind I change out my chain/ sprockets at about 15-20 hr mark, even when they still look decent. Probably wouldn’t do...
Those motors were almost unbreakable. Once guys started adding suspension travel the frames could be a problem. Old grainy photo is my little brother on his Powroll kitted 83cc XR in 1975.

I'm not saying there are not issues with the bike, but people will always come to the internet to post negative or bad stories. It's very rare people post good stuff, they are too busy enjoying what they have. And i do find it hard to believe that triumph, if pushed by dealers would tell there customer to piss off if they had a major failure. I'm not saying you won't find cases where this might happen but I believe it would be very rare. And also the internet is full of stories just like this from many other manufacturers.

Great insight and worth the post. 17.2 hours on mine, 13/50 gearing and 116L chain (stock is 114L and 13/48). Also prefer the 'Sand - Wet' map, with 'Expert' and 'RC Signature' (standard second map, blue light on) being quality options to try as well. Relatively stock on the suspension side (just clickers: C15/R14; HS 7/8, LS14, R11), even at 185lbs and SoCal 30A speed. 2.5mm fork height. 100-102mm sag. 26mm free sag tells me I need to bump up the spring rate, but this is a long-term test bike so that's not in the cards at the moment. LOVE...

So I have tried many jetting specs including jd jetting and others. I have finally been able to get a hold of a CCL needle from diggers jetting spec. I’m am basically at sea level in southern new jersey , ran a 180 main jet, 55 pilot at about 1.75 turns out on air screw , and CCL needle on third clip position with a 5.5 slide at 32:1 klotz on 94 on a fresh top end at 40 degrees Fahrenheit with a apex mx head and I cannot stress enough this is hands down the best jetting for this...

No doubt the guy can ride. Looking forward to seeing how he does this year as he was obviously uncomfortable on the Kawi...for whatever reason. Another top guy, on a bike he says he likes, should be fun to watch.

The nice thing about Cal City is miles of camping and trails all around. We camp out near the track. A few of us will do a few motos while others in our group that don’t feel comfortable riding the track have miles of trails all around to ride. And the kids buzz around camp all day long. Shower, bbq...
