Reminds me of  Eli on his Geico Honda, RV on his 08 PC250f, JS7 on 04 125. Kenny will forever be the Suzuki guy from now on. No matter what, we gotta be proud even if he comes up short.

I am torn between rooting for Hunter or Kenny.

Kenny is my sentimental favorite.

I think Tomac is probably a dark horse unless he pulls out a "end of season Beast Mode" on the title chase. He was heading south fast before Hunter wadded it up.

What if he was able to pull it off?

Kenny would be the Supercross champion!

I would love to see him pull it off, and I'd be happy for him and Pipes and all of their partners that did endless testing and swapping of components and suppliers that first year to get the bike competitive and Kenny comfortable. As for Suzuki, good for them that their check cleared I guess? The people involved are making this happen not the manufacturer.

as a suzuki owner, I hope he wins. He is wicked fast, and this year his health can support his natural speed.......I would still put my money on HL, but my heart would love to see KR win the title,....!!

I think whoever wins the next race between Hunter, Kenny, and Eli, takes the whole thing.

Webb is still a threat... now, he needs some luck and some wins... but what if webb pulls off number 4 this season??? That would make for the craziest sx season ever...

Bro what? It’s over. Be crazy if Marchbanks came back and won the title also. Odds are the same for Webb. Ain’t happening.

For once I agree with you. Put the pipe down, Webb's season is over. Webb still a threat 😂 😂

Tomac fan here...and I hope he turns his latest "lull" around to win it all, but I sure won't be mad if Roczen winds up the Champion. If anybody deserves the title it's him especially after all these years of coming up short and the brutal injuries he's had to withstand.

What he's been doing is very impressive and if he wins it'll be awesome.

You'd think it would be highly embarrassing for everyone else and the other manufacturers. Already getting beaten by an old unchanged platform raises alot of very reasonable questions. For the riders themselves the same thing. Kenny says he barely touches the bike these days. What are the others doing testing non stop? Often going backwards?

Suzuki's have always been the best turning bikes on the track. Kenny is dialed in and healthy - he will be very hard to beat.

If KRoc pulls this off it will be a great storyline and hopefully it will revive Suzuki. This would be a great time to update the bike with a button, BNG's, maybe a KR FE model and get Suzuki back in the game. Ken wins the title, retires and becomes Suzuki's brand ambassador which would actually make sense for a change. Hell, they should make Barry Carsten the brand ambassador. Barry truly deserves it...

$150k per race win and 2 million for the championship iirc from Eli when he was on a rant against Steve awhile back. I think Webb has said the supercross championship with all the bonuses is worth a million dollars more than an outdoor championship.

Cinderella story.

No real bike development in years.  Tier 2 team.  Kenny and all the adversity he has faced.  I would love to see it.

It could reignite Suzuki.

Firstly the results are mostly due to Kenny's skills on a bike, but what does help a bit is that because the bike hasn't changed for so long they have a wealth of data available and do not have a new or newish bike setup issues every other team has, and he has been on the same unchanged bike for a while now.

That does not negate his results rather helps him get them.

Been rooting for Hunter. But would be absolutely pumped for Kenny if he won it. Even one SX championship kind of feels like it's not enough for how good he has been throughout his career. Would be really shit if he never took one.

At this stage despite him technically sitting 3rd in points. It feels like he is the guy to beat now.

I hope he wins. It would be amazing to see. As far as the bike goes I can see it as Suzuki higher ups going “see it’s fine. Let’s just smash start on the assembly line for another ten years” There’s three things that the Zook could use to be a better bike. A regular rear shock (all they have to do is valve and spring the 250 shock for the 450), lighten it up and e start. I think the major issue they’re facing is reducing weight while adding e start will be a major overhaul. But it can be done. It’s not a bad bike at all but let’s be honest if Jett was on a 09 Honda he could still win.

Well, it will be embarrassing for Sx/Mx in general that in this niche of motorsport progress is so puny that you can come and win with a 5-10yo bike... try to do that in any tarmac-track based sport.... then again, it does give hope to privateers and makes Sx/Mx more about the rider than machine.

...but looking at 250 class, it's all blue and orange (some white), except for HRC not much red there so is it so that the machine makes a difference anyway... could a 5yo blue machine win over a new red machine in Sx ?

I have no dog in the fight as i like and respect Kenny, Eli and Hunter the same way. This year is probably their last chance at a SX title with Jett back, a fixed Chase (if it exists) and Deegs arriving in the class. Better not wasting this opportunity.

I'm so torn on whom to root for.

Hunter: The "eternal" 2nd fiddle to Jett, there wont be that many opportunities for him to get a 450 SX title so it would be incredible for him and that family if he could get it done!

Eli: To win that late in his career on yet another brand would be so cool. And the early part of the season was amazing, he was a class above the rest. Lets hope he gets back to that level asap.

And Kenny: To win his first 450 SX title this late in his career, after all the injuries and on a soon to be 10 year old bike that you have to kickstart would be amazing.

The good part is that no matter what happens, i will be super happy for each one of these three guys if they win the title.

He's my number 1 and Chase is my #2 in the 450 class.

Do you remember all the critics and haters that came out bad on KR a few years back when he used his social media during the time he wasn't going to get renewed with Honda. And the pics he posted of I believe a sprocket coming off a Honda practice bike? None of that deterred how I looked at him as one of the greatest racers ever in SX.

But boy there were surprisingly a lot of Roczen critics and haters back then.

I remember having a discussion on this forum with a dude around 2020, that the RMZ was not competitive because it was dated.

I insisted that Kenny’s 2016 bike would still be competitive with anything in 2020.

Now here we are in 2026 and the largely unchanged RMZ is still smashing it! Awesome!

In recent years we’ve read about Webb saying his 22 KTM wasn’t as good as his 21 bike, Tomac said his 23 YZF wasn’t as good as his 22 bike, and did I read the current gen KXF wasn’t as liked as the previous gen?

Yet Suzuki change nothing and it’s still competitive!

SOME RIDERS ARE JUST WAY TOO NIT PICKY AND ARE NEVER HAPPY WITH THEI BIKE AND CONSTANTLY CHANGING STUFF. EVERY MX BIKE I EVER OWNED, I SET THE SAG WHEN I GOT IT HOME AND THAT WAS IT. GAIN 10 LBS, OR LOSE 15, NEVER TOUCH IT, JUST CHANGE THE OIL, CLEAN THE AIR FILTER AND RIDE. CHANGE THE TORQUE ON THE SEAT MOUNTING BOLTS? WTH WOULD I DO THAT?

Some riders dont use CAP LOCK , punctuation as well.

What level did you ride at by not doing all that dumb stuff the pros do?

For me its between Kenny and Eli just because who they don't have many more opportunities in front of them compared to Hunter who could have another 8 years.

You realize most of us have never ridden the current gen RMz.  How do we know it sucks? The media tells us it does.  Maybe, just maybe, media is wrong?? It wouldn’t be the first time

If he wins this title Suzuki will never update the bike again.
