I’ve washed both my KTMs with Shout since they were brand new and the bolts looked like trash after 3 rides. I bet it has more to do with water chemistry than the soap used.

I had the same problem. Fasteners made in China. They look nice when new with the hollowed out large end. Always liked the Honda fasteners.

1 day ago Ive had 2 Ktms. Now a fresh new 350. The finishes of the fasteners deteriorate and look like they belong on a Harley in tome. Usually a short time. Im sure it has to do with where i live and coastal air to a degree. I got a new bike, does anyone suggest something other than WD to spay metal...

I would think in a motor sport where the athletes performance outweighs his equipment performsnce ( you know it does. KR proves it weekly on that junk...

4/5/2026 11:06am Do racers use sports psychologist? To me the weakest and strongest part of person is their mind. Racers can have super human strength and they do riding around in 8th place when they have the potential to lap the field. If they dont use them, I can see a benefit. Ill bet Ivan Drago had a Sports Psychologist

Actually you got that sorta right...I started NSR with the owner of Northshore Honda Yamaha in Highland Park Illinois (Chicago area). His name is Chick Baruffi. He bought the dealership from the family of mobster, Allen Dorfman after he got whacked. He was Jimmy Hoffas finance guy who managed the teamsters pension fund that the mob used to build Las Vegas. Allen was whacked in a hotel parking lot in a Lincolnwood Illinois (the purple hyatt for those that know the area). He was depicted acurately in the movie Casino and was whacked at the end of the movie. Anyways...
