Cool for the Honda news, but weird they didn't communicate about it. That Yamaha is seriously good. Nico Deparrois (former French MX and enduro rider) has a lot of hours on it as a test rider, and he says the thing is flying.

Yeah he was impressive. I figured he would simply continue with CAT Moto but havnt heard anything. Gatedrop rumoured that team to do MX2 with one rider so maybe with him?

Reminds me a lot of James Stewart, all the speed in the world. Either wins or crashes, there is no in between. Awesome to watch him ride!

Do you really think nobody tried before ? KTM, De Carli, his friends, his (French) agent... Sacha rides the same and only way he knows since the beginning. He was already the same on 85. The guy just does not accept losing and doesn't even get why everyone is tripping over this. I understand Americans are not used to it...

I rode this bike. Engine is not on par with current 450's but still enough for 95% of the riders. Chassis was OK except the rear shock, really not good. The bike handles pretty well dans feels light. Not so bad for a first version. OK bike for beginners, but i'd still buy a used Austrian or Japanese bike before...

Speaking with his former trainer Ben Townley, he explained to me that the plan was to make him a SX rider. He won't do as good outdoors right off the bat, but that moment will come. And given his riding style, he'll be a top 450 rider as a rookie. The future is great for him.
