I don’t think we ever got to the bottom of the “banged up” thing last year. I suspect that was concussion related.
Bro’s been waiting for this moment and brought the receipts 😭

"Rocket Rex" is team manager.
Yeah, he’s racking them up. I don’t blame him for taking the time off to get his head right.
based on CTE studies from NFL once you reach a certain cumulative threshold, you can never get your head right and recover 100%.
Surprisingly soccer has tons of concussions as well with many players having difficulties after multiple concussions.
He is in Peru visiting a shaman at a Ayahuasca retreat.
Close - Team AMF.
The cherry on top is getting a custom bowling ball every time he lands on the podium.
This oughta identify the AARP members on here. 😄
RV’s riding style was totally different than Chase’s.
It's why we stopped racing. My boy had 5 or 6 concussions between ages 7 and 18, all from moto. We took time off after every one, and replaced his helmet. Now I am worried about the long-term affect on his brain. We bought the best helmets there are (6D, top of the line Fly and Alpinestars) but it really doesn't matter when your head hits the ground hard. I had at least 5 myself over the years, and the last 2 (within 3 months of each other) after age 60 made me stop. Sport is brutal.
This is just me but surprisingly I have more concussions from soccer than both riding and skating, and I have pretty even time with both
Nice hair Chase
He will be back after the operation. The surgery will be performed to remove the problem….his Dad.
When he had his big crash at SMX last year, someone who was there told me he was asleep for a good minute. It takes time to recover from something like that (I know too well). If he sustained another concussion in this last crash, that could be a big part of his delay in returning to action.

If this is legit I would bet he is having a Microdiscectomy and Laminectomy If so he will be out for a bit . But certainly would explain lower back and hip pain .
Doesn’t matter what set ip he has, he’s going to sample the dirt, either in practice or in a race 75% of the time. That’s just what he does.
he just needs someone to convince him to stop the quirk of lowering the rear end because it completely messes up geometry and balance. The engineers that designed the bikes are way smarter than him and teams can easily work to balance the front & rear and give him the stability he seeks.
