My heart is telling me Eli but my brain is telling me Hunter. But I secretly would like to see Malcolm pull some miracle ride out and upset the whole field.
Depending on the weather, Daytona has a history of slopfests, then it could be anyone. Good conditions, a healthy Tomac should win.
Might simply come down to which guy gets the better start. I don't see anyone touching those two and them pushing each other to put a big gap on the field. I'm excited to see this new improved '26 version of Hunter there and I'm excited to see Eli there on the KTM
3 by a whole section. He's on it right now and the loves that place
Jo in 250. This track is very SMX style, which he loves.

Remember though Pierce Brown won the SMX final in 2024 and he looks good right now.
If I had to pick though:
450: Hunter, Tomac, Kenny
250: Davies, Brown, Shimoda
Hunter beat Eli pretty convincingly at MXoN… if the weather is good, I think he could take it.
And Not Your Average Jo might put on a show, but Cole Davies is due…
If he's 100 percent I like Tomac for the win. I can tell you who I don't like now and that's Sexton. This train has officially derailed .
Eli then Coop, sexton, Ken, AP, Sniper
I’m heading down to make sense of the whole thing, hopefully give you some live-action shit, keep ya posted. Going with Jeremy Hand in 250’s and Jason Anderson on the kickstarted bikes.
In my perfect world it would be #4, 94, 1, 3, 96. Pull the points tighter and a Sexton win would really stir the Vital pot. My money would be on #3, 96 then 4. 250's tough call but will be fun to watch.
Rupert, you staying for RCSX?!
Just looked at the long range guess. Fri & Sat scattered thunder showers. Still 6 days away so.....
I might, depends how slim my wallet gets ….
Eli...all day long...using the sccop. Fast qualifier, holeshot...wins by 10 seconds. It's Daytona.
See you there ol buddy!
Davies / Tomac
Roczen did it last year but ET was a no show then. Deegan will show up on the Daytona entry list and he and Davies will take top honors.
Pit Row
450: Tomac with Roczen a close second. Then Hunta', Webb, Prado, Sexton, in that order.
250: Cole Davies. Without going down in the first corner, this guy is going to be hard to beat all season.
I’ve seen some say that deegan may show up on 450
The voices in your head?
Calling for biblical rains Friday & Saturday…….the Hondas will suck water with their rube goldberg airbox design, the Cowboy with gncc pedigree will rise to the occasion for that Earnhart guy…… Prado re-injures shoulder signing autographs……I could go on…..
It better not fn rain alot.
I'd say Webb or Roczen for 3rd. Chase doesn't even have a good setup for normal SX, I doubt he'll be any more comfortable at Daytona.
I hope Jo destroys the 250 class. Give me Sexton on the Green Slug. 😆
Rain in the forecast
Kenny, Sexton then Eli
Davies, Brown, Joe
Did someone say Plessinger?
Damn near spot on but the bar I frequented in college was called Razzi’s. Good times!
Oh! My bad, think Sexton pulls Daytona off but I’d really like to see Roczen get it.
Eli... But Hunter, Sexton and Roczen could make it messy with a start. All but Sexton can get one too. If Sexton manages to not go in to the first turn in last, he might show signs of life here. Not expecting Webb to be up front. JCoop could surprise... And it would be cool for RJ to get a little frisky, he's had a tough indoors.
