I hope when Deegan moves up he doesn’t bring the take out mentality with him. I enjoy watching the top 450 guys race each other clean. Every time they are interviewed they say how they respect each other and I can’t help but think that’s all going to change when Deegan moves up.

Just watched the "takeout clip”. My take is that sandy section was a real challenge for everyone! LK just plain carried to much speed into the corner and failed in his execution with no intent to "Take Out" anyone. Low and behold DB was the unfortunate recipient! No get even, no intent, just a racing situation……the bonus! The last round should be most interesting.
I personally don't think Deegan has the character to "race him clean and beat him straight up". I firmly believe he'll do whatever is necessary to make sure Jo isn't a threat...because Shimoda isn't the kind of rider to clean Deegan out. We might see other riders emboldened by Kitchen though, and see somebody else give Deegs the business!

I've watched the qualifier start over and over and cannot figure out why so many are blaming Haiden for that. You do simulated starts, this kind of thing happens. Bars came together with his teammate and it shot him to the right. Not Deegs fault. Some of you are acting like he did that on purpose.

Thats a great idea for SMX special rule. Red plate for points lewader, but points can be transferred by take out of the current points leader.
Levi should get the red plate and deegans points.
Maybe blair will realize this is critical for the next step in SMX evolution.
I found out my experience watching SX and MX and SMX etc., is much better if I hit the mute button and close my eyes whenever Deegan is either talking or his image is on the screen. I can watch him ride his motorcycle but that’s it. If you haven’t tried the mute button and the close your eyes thing give it a shot.
I’m not sure how I’d handle being there live. Maybe a welder’s mask with a paper bag and then ear plugs and headphones?

Just re-watched the video- I was incorrect when I said Kitchen front wheel centerpunched Deegan
It was actually the full force of Kitchens body slamming into Deegan's body a split second after Kitchen's front wheel took out Deegan's Front wheel. Deegan started falling toward the right on to the track from front wheel contact, and the body contact knocked him the opposite direction.
The video with the rear angle appears to show Deegan had no idea Kitchen was anywhere near him

If Kitchen was 2nd in points, this move makes all the sense. Its still dirty. But it makes it more of an actual racing incident instead of a mindless takeout on the first lap. If it wasn't Deegan outside, does he make the same "I'm going for the money and the podium" decision to take out Shimoda? No he definitely doesn't. It blows my mind the AMA didn't penalize him ANYTHING as its "his first infraction". Dude most likely cost a rider the Championship because his childish ego got the best of him. Acting like a nobody while taking himself out of the race as well. Karma is coming...it won't be good.

My line in the sand was JuJu trying to be a cool guy like Deegz 🥱🥱 Deegz moves haven’t looked like the one Kitchen did, that’s all I’m saying. I also don’t have a favorite rider, but the main guys I root for are Tomac, Anderson, and Swoll. And I don’t remember Kitchen owing Deegan one like that and if that wasn’t Deegan I don’t think Kitchen pulls the same move.
