97 RM250 done up as a Mcgrath replica, watching the King that year on that bike was when my love for moto started
My 73 in Boise. Danny Laporte was there racing. Glover was there the year before.
I’d love to find this 1978 Kawasaki 125A4
They only produced 2,000 worldwide and it’s a hard vintage bike to find
Chrome tank husky’s are looking good.. terrible brakes, flexy forks, turn like a bus, but I like the mix between old styling and the evolution in technology.

I had the 1983 version of that bike. Loved it, but it tried to kill me several times.. the front axle was two pieces pressed together, they liked to un-press themselves when I flat landed jumps. When that happened, the front fender dancing madly around was the clue that I was gonna hit the ground in about a quarter second. Then the front rim broke at the weld seam, that made the fender dance also. Then the swingarm broke..
They fixed the problems for 1984, much better bike!
Or one of these ‘07 PC 250fs with the shorties…
2010 Aprilia 450 MXV. Just the thought of the tiny four stroke v-twin makes me smile!
A MXGP spec factory KTM SX-F 250. Or a Star Yamaha YZ250F.
I have seen someone else also wants one on this thread.
1974-1976 xr75 Honda
Stark Varg 1.2
RM250T, 1980 love them.
Does it have a water cooled head?
1985 Kawasaki SR 250
That's easy a Brough.
Maybe not, maybe a Metisse....
Well there are Mugens
Pit Row
2001 Honda CR500R
I’d go for a 2026 KX300. If it were a bike from the past that I wanted, but didn’t have it would be an 86 KX80.
That was my last 125 and I’d love to have it back! I’ve always said if I do a bike build it would be a circa 98 or 05 KX 125 where I had those generations.
ATK 406
With a respectful nod to the exotics, my vote is easily another for the iconic 81 RM 125.
A showroom-fresh one would be ridden hard once and then just dusted weekly with a cloth diaper.
1991 RM 125
1993 or 1994 RM 250. Not the best, but ticks all the boxes for me.
Have to say, that'd be my go-to as well.
A brand new 500 excf
The mystical Prado GP-Spec GasGas MC450.
Always wanted a 2006 KTM 250SX with the spray paint graphics. I remember seeing these in the dealership and thinking they were the coolest bikes on the planet.
