The frame looks black on the Polisport add. Possibly steel?
I don’t think Polisport would be revealing plastics kits for the new 2 stroke before Kawi even announces the bike.

Its a restyle kit. Maybe a more involved one with a gas tank and seat like they do for the 01-21 Yamaha for one of the Kawasaki's. To mee it looks like a kit to make an older Kawasaki have the looks of the current 250/450.
I guess they have to do off-road models only since not allowed in mx/sx.

A re style for the kx500 would be super niche, but very cool.
This feels weird for me to say cause in general I think they are dumb.
To be fair, the 99-04 KX500 was not a great looking bike, like compared to the Honda. Not that it was a bad bike in any way, but a modern restyle on that would be outstanding.

With the to be 200/300 having FI, Kawi better get it right, right out of the gate. Who knows, cross fingers for a good tuning App.
The 200 was a long shot. Just hoping it isn't going to be as heavy as the Beetah or the last KDX gen.
Pretty sure the 200/300 thing is a rumor only. But, no one wants an FI 2-stroke. There are some who want e-start, but if Kawi releases anything, it’ll be a win. (Even if it’s a new 85/112)
I just looked at the Bike of the Day, 1993 KX250. IF Kawi goes through with this, I hope it has a low fuel tank like the '93. That thing is cool. Though it might make working on the bike a bit more difficult.
imo needs a completely different chassis and a look that looks like a 2 stroke bike rather than a two stroke motor in the current 4 stroke machine.

I am not a two stroke guy but I am interested so I watch this thread. Owned multiple KX125's/KX250's decades ago. You two stroke guys are like Charlie Brown, running to kick the football and it gets pulled away every time. Go buy a Beta. Go buy a Sherco.... buy from the companies that care about two strokes and offer fantastic options right now!! stop trying to kick the japanese two stroke football

Allowed, yes. Handicapped, absolutely.
A 300 2T is not allowed in any regular AMA Pro MX/SX class, regardless of its homologation status.
