2004 YZ250. I have owned a few of the newer aluminum framed YZ250’s, and they are not as good as I remember the 2004 steel frame being. Could put that 2004  anywhere on the track at full throttle and be in complete control.

Does this have to be a real bike? If it doesn't I would really want a Ducati 350. 😁

IMG 2817 3IMG 2818 1.jpeg?VersionId=SNCDL5GolMtIDoqThat was my favorite 2 stroke 250 for sure!! I still keep an eye out for a clean one. It just needed the sss KYB’s and it might be the perfect 250 2 stroke.

1997 KX250.  I have one but I'd like a new showroom floor one.  Plenty of cool bikes but I know of one that I will never run across but would seriously like to find is a 1967 Suzuki B105P.  That's the bike I rode on the tank in front of my Dad with.  I climbed on it in the garage when I was 2 and it fell over and I got 13 stiches in my head.  Still have the scar.  I was working the clutch and riding by myself when I was 5 on that thing.  One day Dad just jumped off the back and we were motoing from there on.  The gears were 4 down and I'd have to lean over to stomp it and yell at someone when I wanted to stop.  LOL

1980 Yamaha YZ 100.  First 2 stroke and so much fun to ride.

Irregardlessly speaking (and excluding unobtainium factory Hondas), I'll take that one too. So many great motos on that bike. Profresh approved.

The 87 was my 1st mx bike I bought with a NSR port job for hill climbs. It was awesome it got me hooked on a quick hard hitting engine.  My 04 cr125 DBP would be tough to beat for excitement.  So I will chose a bike I have. It hangs with 2025 mod 125,s . I,d like a 95 works cr125 but I don’t think it would be faster . Actually there’s quite a few A mod 07 cr250 , Pastransa 01 Rm 125, Chiodi,s 99 Husky , M. Browns 01 KX125 , Mugen Honda 125, the never released 08 cr250

I’m not going back in time lol.  If I were going to drop money today……….and I would if my wife wouldn’t kill me and as I’ve said before for……….she wouldn’t sell my body parts on the dark web!.  I’d buy a 26 KX250.  It’s best of both, half way between a Honda and a Yamaha.  Along with I’d still have beer money!

I have a 74.5 450, and a 73 450.  With the 4" rear travel limit for vintage racing, the stock framed 73 handles better, but the 74.5 is a better looking bike.  Best bike available for pre-75 classes!  If someone could just adapt a modern clutch to it...

Had one, great bike. However there was a limited run of ‘84 KTM 420 (not 495) that I borrowed and raced a few times. Torque for miles, but wouldn’t hurt you like a 495. That’s my wish bike.

My first new bike as well. A few years back I bought a 77 xr 75. Fantastic shape. Original tires and grips. A small ding in the gas tank. The 77 had black fork legs otherwise identical to the 78. Your right. This bike is slow as shit. maybe 8hp. lol. But I love it.

I'm getting too old, and busted-up to do any bike justice these days, so something to look at: either a twin carb Puch, Canam MX3 or Ossa GPIII. Never wanted to own a Euro bike before.
