Sorry, Kris wasn’t accurate there. AEO has a signed contract in hand to switch to Husqvarna next year. Both themselves and BarX will be factory supported programs (AEO has been prior as KTM, but their deal is a bit better now). AEO is already in-house at KTM’s US headquarters, BarX will be moving into the building too.

I’m not gonna be surprised if Jorge gets in…and stays in…the mix at The Wick. Also, let’s acknowledge that Hunter is at a new level. Jett has been pretty damn smart about managing his speed as he heals…as he recovers…a VERY busted up ankle. That’s an amazing feat for any athlete. The Brothers KTM Europa should be VERY “in it” at The Wick. The combination of sand and ruts should work out very nicely for them. Then there’s Deegan: the kid needs to work on those starts. And finishing 20+ seconds back is not a good look. On the other...

Austin raced a lot at our local tracks as an amateur. I remember seeing him and thinking "no one can ride a motorcycle faster." (Especially one time I mistakenly persuaded my son, who was in his first year on a 125 to enter a local "125 C two stroke class." Needless to say he was quickly lapped by Forkner and some guy I hadn't heard of at the time, Chase Sexton). Just another proof point on how difficult it is to reach (and succeed) the highest levels in pro motocross/supercross. I hope he has a bright and happy future.

I’m not sure, I think Triumph is just trying to clean house and right their ship, although Scuba is pretty knowledgeable and was Millsaps mechanic when he almost won the SX title back in 2013. Scuba was working for Bobby Hewitt and his team for a bunch of years so the guy knows a lot. I think I heard that on MLs “what I learned on Friday” vlog/podcast. Stylez I thought was training some of the guys in place of Brownie when Brownie broke his neck. I don’t know how much they can look at their MX2 program in Europe...
