I'd be surprised if Herlings raced Southwick but if he does I think he'll win .

There's me posting that on Saturday morning then he goes out and wins 😁... Yep he's certainly hit some form but  obviously not like in his prime, I hope he goes but still don't think he'll go because of probably not having a chance of winning and it's not really a sand track that he'd have a great advantage like Lierop or Lommel

IF... big if... he were to win Southwick, that makes him eligible for SMX. He loves money, would he line up and give it a shot?

Prado was still in the title fight up until this point as was Cairoli until he got injured in Sardinia. When they went to Trentino, Herlings needed all the help he could get after a DNF in one of the motos there. They didn’t put up much of a fight & I believe Cairoli let Herlings pass on the far side of the track on the last lap. That was the race where Herlings over jumped the finish line & went down.

You're right. I remember that race very well, because I was furious to see that on my screen !

To be honest the wick would give JH the opportunity to put a W on the legend and the next big thing at once. 2 birds. That’s a nice carrot if you ask me, he’s gotta be thinking about it.

Southwick is by far Tomac's best track...he is incredible there! JH is not beating him there, neither will Jett most likely!

Jett is pretty amazing there. I wouldn't speak too soon

This is the match up I’m most looking forward to - Jett vs Eli at Southwick.

I know Eli is strong there but Jett spent years building technique and stamina in Belgium…

What about Cairoli? He's racing the British MXGP next weekend. Here's from an interview earlier this year:

My plan was to do more racing. We didn’t exactly plan which or what, but around some time I want to race more races, let’s say maybe another two or three rounds. Maybe the US if we can find a good compromise because the bike needs to be on sale first there, otherwise you cannot race. So the bike around the end of June will be in the market in the US. After that, we can see which race we can maybe attend and maybe some more and one more MXGP, I would love to do Matterley Basin, it’s one of my favorite tracks. At the moment, we have no real plan, but I will do more racing, yeah.”

I think his options are Kawi, Wilvo Fantic and KTM. Is Gajser signed at HRC?

Rumor is that Wilvo and Fantic will split after the 2025 season. Also that the 84 most likely will end up there for 2026 and beyond.

What he said just watch out for the VA police they don't fuck around with the speed limit! Keep it to 5 over.

All very good advice being given here on that drive from FL to MA. The VA state police dont mess around. 81 is kind of annoying with the hills and trucks, but I would take crusing 55mph behind a trailer over sitting in stand still traffic.

I don’t think he is. He was announced as the grand marshal. Nothing said about him racing.

Damn, I cant believe Herlings is afraid to race Jett at Southwick. Jk jk 😂 I'm bummed. I would have actually gone to the race. I'll just watch on tv now. Wick aint the most spectator friendly.

I have a source who saw Herlings practicing at Southwick this week on a Gas Gas.

Sorry just adding more nonsense to the annual Herlings to Southwick post.
