The clamp defect is not as obvious on some as it is on others. I have full confidence that our set up techs followed the set up manual 100%. This is a 450RWE that we haven't completed the recall on yet. As you can see, there is no obvious gap in the clamps like the photo you shared.

If the manufacturer is offering a recall on a part. You can be sure that said part (or task) is not specifically outlined on the dealer checklist. So you would be incorrect in your assumption. A dealer tech is not going to catch bad metallurgy...

Hey jackass. There was an internal (aka casting) flaw with the batch of clamps. NOTHING a dealer tech or owner is going to see from the outside. So, GFY.

I remember walking into a local surf shop in North Carolina around 2004 and the guy telling me that as a moto journalist, I should check out this local kid named Cooper Webb. I found him to be an extremely determined, smart and talented nine-year old. It has been absolutely phenomenal watching him capture the dream that every moto rider wants. He deserves every dollar and accolade.

Cat pump and ideally a Honda motor if you want it to last the rest of your life. I guess the question is how many PSI, how much weight you're looking to save, and what your budget is. This one is 3400 PSI but an aluminum frame. It may be lighter than what you have now.

Southwick. Easy flight into Hartford, CN. Lots of hotels, etc. It's as "Americana" as you can get: American Legion lodge; colonial era homes; small track area lots of shade and viewing options; lots of moto history... P.S. Hangtown has the possibility of being really hot with no shade.

My favorite spots are top of the hill past the club house right next to the step down triple, and the whole island area between Big Gulp and the run up to Henry Hill. Both spots have huge oak trees to provide great shade and you can see the whole track pretty much from either spot. Bring way more water than you think you will need.
