This bike is a 19 year old, 125. Stock motor, stock suspension. Every time it goes to the track, it will pass at least 40 of the latest and greatest 250's and 450's, yes, even Factory Editions. It also has steel handlebars. Just a humble Public Service Announcement to maybe help some of you, save some money, if you are thinking you need to spend $1200 on a new titanium exhaust or other goodies to go faster. Have fun.

You must be fast.
Ok
Cool. Nobody gives AF.
Nice!

Yeah, fuck those people that are buying new bikes and parts. Everyone should buy used and not buy any aftermarket parts for it.
Gator and profeshenal125 should have a race and the winner will be crowned Vital King shit talker. 🤴
I don't have a problem with guys modding their bikes to the bejeezus. It's their money.
My issue is when they flex on you in the pits, imparting their knowledge of all things Enzo and Twisted while they evaluate your stock-ish looking YZ250 2 stroke. Then they roll around the track with their azz on the seat, and clearly would be better suited with an XR400.
Oddly, nearly everything in this thread is true.
Profesh should be chiming in here any minute now… 👀
How to insinuate that you are fast AF, while at the exact same moment, proving that you aren’t . I will take Pro125 for the win.
Bring that thing to GH tomorrow, I have a 6 yr old orange one. Let's burn some oil
Slowest bike ever made. If he’s passing 40 bikes on that dinosaur they must be on stands in the parking lot
Looks sick tho
The CR125 came stock with Renthal bars in 2006.
Before the market went nuts and you could get one for $2500. It was the best deal in MX.
Bwaaahaaaahaaaas
Uh, well, I think this one’s better.
Probably has something to do with that 19 year old tire hooking up.
First off let's see video of these passes.
With your logic I'm hoping you have a 19yr old TV
So moved by this thread I put a Keihin FCR on my 23 yz450. Thanks Gator!
Pit Row
After reading all the comments…… You Sir have struck a nerve….. Well done!😂
Had one, bought it brand new in 2002. Thought is was so cool. Think I paid $2999, could have been $3999, that's a while ago. We dyno'd it and if I remember correctly it had around 18 hp stock. Just laughable. Turned well though.
Now Im older and have money so I buy cool stuff and love it all.
Sick… I just so happened to have busted out a 20 min moto on my 93 CR125 today! I salute your greatness Gator!
😂
Does that happen where you live? People look down on others for having lesser machine? Thats weird. We just ride in my area. Nobody cares what anyone else is riding
Some truth to the original post though.
It's funny because I am planning to do a quick practice session this Fri, after work. My modded 250F needs an oil change and gone over, so I have my 125 ready to go. And I was just thinking that on some tracks, I'm probably going to ride the 125 about the same as my 250F. Will pass the same ppl and be passed by the same ppl as always, roughly.
It's really just about having the right bike for you. It can be old or new. As long as it suits your style and you are dialed in, you will ride well, in my opinion.
Reality check: If this is your true personality, everyone you know knows you’re a tool.
You called?
Oh wait, you said "gargantuan".
I thought you said "orangutan".
Please excuse the interruption.
Does it count as passing them if they’re still on the stand in the pits…?
These bikes really get a bad rap.
They're not fast, but if you're not too heavy they have enough power to get you over pretty much anything on a public track, handle great, and the open bath KYB forks are on par with anything available today as far as I'm concerned. This is a good reminder that I need to free my 04 from the confines of the shop.
