You are correct. There are people who are happy to pay more in taxes - no argument. However, I can promise you most people feel we already pay too much in taxes. The sad part is there are people in America that actually think the exporting country is paying this extra tax (tariff). They have no idea that American citizens pay the tax (tariff).

This is going to start something, but with the recent finishes from Hunter I'm calling BS. Honda is up to something and should be looked at. Reason: Jett smoking fast, Hunter fast. But for them to leave the field behind by over a minute in four rounds bullshit. No one does that. Eli 2015 over the field but golden rod was closing the gap before Eli torpedoed in the ground. The whole “the question that blew up the industry” narrative is so crazy to me. I think Matthes talked about it for a few minutes on his review pod and said he personally didn’t like it since it could put AP in a weird spot and that was it. God forbid the guy have an opinion. Then Gypsy and Hopper glom onto those couple of remarks and create an entire weeks worth of drama. Whack.

I’m not a huge Matthes fan and I like Gypsy, but that post seemed unnecessary. Matthes really wasn’t hard on hopper at all, unless there was more said than what was on pulp. He just said he thought that you shouldn’t put riders in a spot where they could say something that could get them in trouble. I think he even prefaced it with he liked hopper. There are obviously deeper issues with GL and Matthes so I don’t think this had anything to do with their beef.

5/28/2025 5:54pm Had one, bought it brand new in 2002. Thought is was so cool. Think I paid $2999, could have been $3999, that's a while ago. We dyno'd it and if I remember correctly it had around 18 hp stock. Just laughable. Turned well though. Now Im older and have money so I buy cool stuff and love it all.
