Still blows me away that anyone can be offended by a word. Not just that word, but any word.

Anyone with a modicum of empathy and compassion knows that words do matter. I truly do not give a fuck if people think that viewpoint is "soft".

I understand the reasons for not allowing that word on the site, but it’s strange people are offended by something being typed out that someone else said but not offended by the person who said it.

I found that Ironic. To say context doesn't matter ,but then use the word itself to say its unacceptable. 

 Without the context of the poster saying it's unacceptable to use this word, it could appear to be used in the same way that Jett used it.

I'm not saying its OK to use the word.  But the way its used matters to me , and the people who used the word to say its never ok to use the word proved that context matters to them. Should the posters who used the word to say its never ok to use it, be fired from their jobs?

 I think that everybody is putting their own personal experiences into what they think may or may not have been said before and after those words. And using that to judge how they feel. And that is exactly what Mirtl was trying to do.

Some behaviors warrant less of a laissez-faire approach & more a  .. pirate captain methodology. 

Embrace it & take no prisoners ML.  

This place could use a little decorum.  The word, typing the word, obscuring the word,  implying the word, or heaven forbid, including the actual word in a private email to you about the word is the least of the problems. 

And I don't even know what word you are referring to...and it doesn't even matter.

Mirtl won this round because vital got collectively tilted (not MLs fault). Can't wait to see what he/Kook do next to get us twisted up. 

Probably not the most productive place to have any discussion along these lines so I get shutting it down but not real sure why certain posts were deleted and others weren't? Oh well....

I never opened that thread so I don’t know nor do I  care what was said, but I will say this, I think you’re doing a helluva job around here and it’s appreciated.
