I laugh everytime they “throw it” to Will right as a battle is happening and she says some long winded thing that has absolutely nothing to do with what’s happening on screen. A pass, a crash, something always happens when she starts speaking it’s actually hilarious. It happened twice last night and the second time, Weege tried to cut her off when a pass was about to happen and instead of switching to talking about the battle, she just continues talking about whatever tf she is talking about. It’s truly comical that it happens every single time 😂
Yup haha. No one and I mean no one listens to what she’s actually talking about because it’s useless information that happened yesterday, a week ago. Who cares there’s a RACE actually happening NOW!
The puns with guys names has gotten really old.
I’m down for puns but their delivery is absolutely terrible. RC sets it up like a 75 year old man whose never heard a joke in his life. “Hey Stew get this; he really SCHOCKED the competition. Ya get it? Cuz his name is Coty Schock!” 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Guess I’m alone here, I don’t mind these little things wil has to say.. there are times in the race there is literally no action going on, it does seem that once she starts talking something happens.. but this is a production fault, not her fault, the guy saying “hey let’s cut to will for some filler” right before a major pass is a moron..

I always turn off the announcers during a football game. I listen to music as I’m watching the game. It works for me.

So has @ML512 or any other Moto journalists tried to set up an interview with Bondo to ask questions about these items? If so has he declined to be interviewed? Or if allowed to interviewed wouldn’t be able to ask non soft ball questions? Guess the main question would like to see answered is “who is the broadcasted geared to and is there data to back that the current plan is working to bring in and sustain viewers?”

The whole show is becoming unwatchable at this point. It's like a stale packaged McDonalds BigMac.
It isn't just the horrendously awful Shrill Christien.
Between the horrible tracks, the camera work, idiotic fans and the pandering to the idiot fans. Start grates, start-cross, holeshot devices, traction control, leader lights....etc etc etc. Rince/repeat on a weekly basis.
Can't believe it.....but I pretty much have lost interest in SX. It's all become unrecognizable.
It's way more exciting to watch alternate racing like the World 2-Stroke championship recently aired.

I have been on the sidelines with respect to this topic, and I now have to say that the commentary needs to be better. RC is one of my most admired racers of all time, and I would love to have a beer with him, but the whole booth outside of Weege needs an upgrade. I think JT does a great job as well. The best to me is Paul Malin, by far, and the MXGP broadcast is far superior in almost every way.

I think Will's time would be perfect for the camera to spend a few seconds checking in on every bike in the main, when appropriate, of course!
Example, coming up in the back of the pack tonight is Devin Simonson. He's a real LCQ scrapper and this is his 9th main of the year.
Now in 21st place is Anthony Bordon, he used to have a cooking and travel show, but switched over to supercross a few years ago.
Here is Colt Nichols holding down 11th place, but moving forward on his Beta, which is a new bike on the scene, etc. etc...
This would be endlessly beneficial to each rider and their sponsors, plus you can learn a little about the riders instead of Will talking about Deegan's diaper rash from not wiping too good.
