Prado…..hook, line, and sinker

Great performance by Prado.  I’m sure that was one of the most fun races of his life.  He’s got to be hooked after the A1 experience and I’m sure we’ll see him back full time soon

He had a great race considering his lack of supercross experience, should be a confidence booster.

Look at the names in front of him. That's a solid performance jumping right in the deep end of the pool

He looked amazing in person and showed short flashes of brilliance but had trouble being consistent in his rhythm section timing.

And he practically rolled the whoops a couple times.  But it’s solid considering his massive lack of SX experience.  I think he finished about where most expected.  Hope he’s full time next year.

What was his/KTMs expectation? Personally, I agree he did well. But I wonder how a guy used to winning responds to getting lapped? Curious if he felt like he can do this or if it was a wake up call to stay in his lane.

He has ridden SX for 8 weeks of his life and just jumped in to 450SX in “the most stacked field in history” and ran within the top 10 for a sizeable portion of the race

Curious to hear what he has to say about it. The talent is there. Seemed to me like the intensity caught up to him later in the main. Not surprising.

Anything inside of the top 15 had to be a win for Prado! Awesome ride. Did you notice he didn't fight hard for positions against any of the regulars? Great sportsmanship knowing he's not in the championship hunt.

Super impressive ride. Not much has to go wrong in this field and you can have a night like Hunter's.

Take a deep breath guy. You misunderstood me. Im curious to know how he feels about it and if he now thinks he can make up that time or if it was more difficult than he thought.

Hed be leaving multiple GP titles on the table. If he comes over here, he'll have immediate expectations. And making up a lap and half is a lot.

Hope he does it full time in the future. Looked pretty damn good for a guy that doesn’t have a ton of experience riding supercross.

I think KTM’s expectation would be that Prado rolls away from round 3 healthy and ready to defend his World Title.

Considering he is racing these with the intention of not crashing and being healthy for his main championship focus overseas he did outstanding. His heater in the first qualifying shows he has tones of aptitude to be a great SX racer.

I thought he may of been around 8th, then I saw the list of riders that finished in front of him, which makes this a decent first race

It going to be hard to finish top 10, if the big boys stay healthy

I mean, just passing Eli, even for 8th, would give me the confidence of a king. Lol.

With a holeshot he would probably been even higher. This was a solid first race and it would have been fun to see him at Daytona.

It wasn’t anything special, but he should still be more than happy with it. He was impressive in qualifying and showed he has speed and ability to be competitive. He didn’t look as good in the night show but that will only come with the experience of racing guys on a beat up SX track. Still, running Top 10 for half the main on debut is impressive and getting out healthy is the most important thing

I thought he did great, but I wonder if Decoster will pull the plug on him like Kailub Russell? The man doesn't have any patience.

Russel wasn’t scoring points in the 250 class. Prado ran half of his first SX race in the Top 10. Plus, he’s only here for 3 races anyway, what benefit would it be to anyone to cut that short?

People have to understand that he NEVER had to deal with race whoops in his life and A1 had two sets of them. I think he did really well and he had top 10 pace for half of the race. If he walks away healthy after 3 rounds this is already a win for him.

If he is a squid, what is Hunter?

What do you think about the guys behind him who have raced supercross for years?

Fantastic first race for Prado and much more than I expected.  Good for the sport to see him do so well and I hope he’s back full-time next year.
