Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Leads the series after 3 rounds, and then comes back to europe.
Biggest mic drop ever.
Unlikely, i know, but respect to him for doing it, and KTM for allowing it.
Oh crap... Going to have to go to San Diego now too. Was planning for Glendale and SLC.
Wins A1 and causes a Vital server meltdown.
Love everything about this

I was expecting much more then three pages when I jumped on here. If one of the mega US stars was going to Europe this place would explode.
I think it’s great he’s trying it. Zero expectations and I’m sure he’s just looking for 1 good finish to build confidence for 2025.
Prado to Herlings.... "Here hold my beer.......... "
Barcia must be thrilled
I think this is awesome.. I don't know if I think it is a brilliant idea to gamble having some fun here before returning home to defend a championship, but I hope he has fun, and enjoys it here enough to give 2025 some consideration.
A1 and SF round. If everyone stays healthy those should be so packed with storylines. It’s going to be great!
If he can find a rhythm around lommel he can find a rhythm around anywhere.
Don’t be surprised if he’s wins, he’s already beat Lawrence at his first try, which is something no other AMA rider could manage all year.
Cooksey was right ....
Points leader by round 3
Yep, bought San Diego and already have Glendale tickets. If the season goes as planned, I’ll get SLC too.
Troy has always been so core moto & such an innovative businessman! Much respect for how he’s done things over the years & for making this happen!
entered Before noon Sunday: If done properly, the two best college football teams in the country, Alabama and Georgia, do NOT make the 4 team playoff.
Also, the world's 2nd best moto-crosser of 2023. coming to try out competitive super-cross, might/might not make the top ten, although he probably will pull some hole-shots.
My point(s)?
(1) The so-called committee doesn't have a fucking clue, unless results are Michigan vs Texas and Washington vs. Florida State.
(2) Supercross is not now and never has been moto-cross.
Seems like you don't know what a cuck is
Let me join the chorus of respect for Prado doing this, major balls indeed. He is one of the few guys (or only guy?) in the MXGP class that can, with relatively little prep ride SX at both a high level and a safe level. His skills are perfectly suited for SX, he is smooth for days and never seems to ride out of control as opposed to Gajser let's say. I don't think any other MXGP guys want the smoke of SX. Like everyone else I am sooooo fucking excited for A1-please no press releases of injuries in December!
Any rumors of speed/laptime comparisons between him and the other KTM group riders?
Pit Row
A1 is usually easy track. Prado can holeshot everytime and ride wide bike so could do good if everyone doing same jump lines and whoops are not huge.
Back to back whoops could be a problem.
Also, it looks like Southern California could be in for a very wet winter. Or it could be a drought, but it is a strong "El Nino" year.
Cant compare Prado 2/3 months of supercross prep to Tim Gaiser 2weeks before monster cups which he rode with moto suspension.
I agree that Tim really looked not so much in control. ( But rode good before crashing out)
Hope Prado does top 5
Sx is very much about the starts. If he can get great starts and not tighten up he could get top 10s maybe. Deep field. I have a hard time seeing much better.
Let’s just hope that’s what they actually build and keep for racing…..
I don’t expect Prado to be able to match Tomac/ Sexton/ Jett in the whoops yet, but thought it was interesting that Reedy commented that Prado’s technique in the whoops was better than some current top ten guys. So the potential is there.
So is Prado living in Southern California through the first 3 rounds? I thought he did his test here a while back and then went back to Europe (but now realize that probably would not make much sense since he is prepping for A1)
I hope Prado does well, not sure where he will finish, but anything around the top 10 would be awesome result.
But Yep back to back whoops will probably be the big difference, most the top SX riders will set him up for the pass in the first set of whoops, complete the pass in the 180 and use the second set to gain a small gap.
But then again who knows, maybe he gets the whoops 100% down before A1, after that his skills, timing and corner speed should keep him close.
End of the day another world class rider added to the mix.
As they will be, for quite a few riders that have raced SX for many years, not just a bloke that is riding in his first US SX, Mav.
But imo A1 is usually a relatively tame track to allow riders to get back into ‘the grind’ so whoops should not be too much of a problem
He should make the mains, but top tens are a hard ask. The LCQs the first few rounds are going to have a lot of seasoned SX riders in them. There is not a doubt of Prado's skill set, his riding a SX track quickly shouldn't be a problem, but the specific race craft of racing the courses with other riders will be a wake up. Bravo to him though for the attempt, but seeing how GasGas is under the Austrian umbrella one has to wonder how short of leash Decoster will have on him or how much criticism he will give him.
Reminds me Tortelli 1998 L.A. Coliseum "surprise" victory in the mud, in front of Emig and McGrath...
