Surprised there's nothing here. I don't usually complain about these imperfections, but that track was a real piece of shit, then the 450 timing and scoring wasn't working so we couldn't see how the gaps were shaping up, then no Mookie interview with a career best. Boooooooo!
The track was littered with blocks and no one was allowed on the stadium floor.
Saturday practice started at 7am.
They did the best they could.

Then again, I grew up in the 70's in the midwest where we always had wind and no water (IE. hardpack).
I'm here to say I'm not complaining about the track, but thankful there were no big crashes for anyone!
Not sure what kind of dirt they have in the Denver area but in 1st timed practice it was greasy like over watered clay then night show was hard packed and blue groove ready.
Every rider has to race on and adapt to the current conditions. Does suck for timed practice though
Pit Row
I do have a question for you about these tracks we have now though.
After Atlanta Hunter said something about that big triple being something out of the ordinary from the spec type tracks they are used to. Keefer said something along the lines of not liking everything on these tracks being spec. While I understand the issue with that jump, in your Ex Pro Racer opinion, are these triples, whoops, other obstacles and tracks in general being within certain specs a bad thing?
I feel like these guys are so programmed to ride these tracks now with the same triple, finish line, rhythm jumps that when they are thrown something different they tend to really struggle and complain about it. There were some pretty wild tracks during your career in SX that you guys had to deal with and while I’m sure there was complaining, you guys handled it all pretty well. Are the racers today spoiled with SX specs?
All Feld would have to do is swap up the distances in jumps/landings and these guys would be left HAVING TO FIGURE OUT A TRACK like they have had to do since sx was invented. Every '90s vid of sx shows this to be true. Halfway through the main, RC busts out a quad or a rhythm nobody else was doing because it takes them a while to figure out what they can/can't do.
Taking lego style sx obstacles and just replicating them week over week is lame.
Downvote away.
One more round of SX and then its outdoors.
Ps. Pala gets hard as hell and dusty in places but lets not complain about that.
Post a reply to: Well that track was a real piece of s***..
