''I'm pumped on that'' when it should be ''I'm pumped with that''.

Or RC when he says ''he's riding agressive'' when it should be ''agressively''

When people call Axo “A.X.O.” It’s from the Italian word “asso” which means winner, but they didn’t want to have “ass” on the gear so they made it Axo. There’s been several threads on this, but it’s my pet peeve.
Good comment, this is informative too. 👍

I loved that gear brand in the 90's

You call it "awwk-so" or "ack-so"?

Calling an "engine a motor".

Well to be fair, it is called a motorcycle.🙄

And I am tired of hearing "Send It" as well.

East Coast/West Coast for the 250 East and West Regions.

Specially the rounds in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri and all the other states that don't even touch the East or West Coast.

This isn’t strictly moto specific but I see this in for sale adverts all the time and it irritates me. “Wheel needs rebuilt”, or “clutch needs replaced”.

7 year olds trying to remember a list of sponsors on the podium is hard to listen to.

The supercross Track builders were using "whoop pad" (and sometimes gnarley pad) to refer to the
level pad they would form to cut the whoops with a wheel loader years before Ralph ever wormed his way to a supercross microphone.

If you are going to credit somebody, I would go with john savitski.

Craigslist ad description for a clapped out ‘97 yz125…”ready to ride, just cleaned the carbs” if you’d actually cleaned it you’d know it only had one.

But is it A X O?

and one phrase that alway was fingernails on a chalkboard to me as a racer, a promoter, and a spectator was "something to separate the men from the boys".

I am sorry, but swinging a leg over a machine with mechanical limits and tackling rough terrain at high speeds while others try to do it faster has never needed anything to further clarify that that individual is tough, whether they be tall/short, skinny,/fat, or male/female.

Big jumps have never made it any clearer than ruts/blue groove, mud/dust, or smooth/rough were doing from day 1.

Seeing the old photos of the downhill after the start at Saddleback proves it.

Watching riders pound their way around the black sand whoops at diamondback in cocoa, fl proved it.

Watching a rider like Marty moates gut out a ride like he did at Carlsbad that history making day was not diminished because there were no 100' jumps.

Watching glover and bailey having unbelievable battles on the brutal beasts that 500cc machines were in the 80's was never about who was jumping what. It was about 2 moto technicians trying to edge out each other and making it look so easy.

So many other examples but I don't want to sound like I am on the podium thanking sponsors.

Speaking of ads "Brand New" - if you own it, and you are not a dealer, it is not brand new.

Dont see it as much anymore, but the 110% and more crap. Giving it 100% means you gave it EVERYTHING you had, you would not be able to be on the podium talking about what percent of effort you gave. If it was 100%, you would be collapsed on the stadium floor. If you gave it 110%-200% (Canard), you would be dead.
