According to his Instagram he has split with StarRacing. I'm pretty bummed. He started picking up his speed last half season.

I wonder if that means Star is opening up the pocketbook to keep AP away from KTM. Bummed for Mookie, but with that performance, we will most certainly get a ride. Would have loved to see him stay on the YZ.

Big Mookie fan but when you only race half the season this will happen. I would look for him to be back at star next season sx only.

Does he not want to ride outdoors? Fitness thing? I would love watching him outdoors. Dude's corner speed is rediculas, crushes the whoops and seeing him send it off the big jumps is fun to watch. He is top 7 in the world in SX....crazy.

I think he knew this was the plan the whole time. Sounds like the plan was to have CC move up to a 450 for outdoors and then next year will be DF, CC and 1 more rider (AP or someone else).

It was always a 1 year SX only deal. He’s just reminding people that he is available. After nearly dying of heat stroke I don’t expect him outdoors. Who is available for SX that is better?

totally agree, when the last time he busted balls doing a full outdoor season? he`s not old enough or won enough to have that privilege imo. plus on on of steves shows they talked about him having a "breather" half way through some of these races, sounds like works still not being put in either

Who did Marchbanks show exactly? Rode well once or twice, wasnt that impressed otherwise. His most notable ride was taking out McAdoo

I don’t think it means the end perse with Star. It just means his current contract is over. That doesn’t mean he won’t be able to sign one with them for outdoors.

I think JA21 goes to Star and Mookie goes to Husky. Or maybe Gas Gss, if KTM wants to trim one rider from Husky long term.

Doesn’t sound like he’s too concerned. His contract is up, he had a great year I’m sure he’s entering other offers as we speak, also I’m sure star would gladly have him back next year if he wants. It’s silly season he will be fine

Hear James has been training with sexton so there’s still a possibility of a stew bros team.

Easiest option? A Monster/Seven backed PC Kawasaki KX 450 out of the back of the PC rig.

But, hey, that’s just me. I look for reasonable solutions that can get The Mookster to The Nationals. Grinning
