I do know he was testing for them last year, not sure if he still is.
Recently posted that he had nothing and will show up at Orlando on his own.

I don't think Hill would be able to because I believe I saw he re-signed his gear deal with Oneal and Rocky Mountain has a Fly team deal. Unless Hill can get out of the Oneal deal, that might be a non-starter for him unfortunately.

I am sure Oneal is thrilled with the results and exposure they are getting with Hill .

He went down on the straight after the finish line. Didn’t look too bad, but who am I to say?

Just putting it out there...I have some vacation saved up, zero skills, even less brains. The only thing I have to offer is a spectacular crash that's sure to get the team lots of exposure on social media. Wife is on board if I can find an insurance policy that pays off big. Silly

The way he dabbed his foot is concerning good way to break a foot or lower leg

Vital resident Justin Starling should make sure his phone is charged. I would argue he is the best racer on an Austrian bike with the least support that might be able to slot in.

I’m not sure many realize that Justin is doing this on his own. No mechanic no anything. He’s going to get better as he goes.

If I was the team owner/manager I'd be inclined to let the bikes sit before I'd call Hill.

You really think Savatgy will be out long enough to need a fill in? His crash didn’t look too bad. He walked off on his own power, didn’t he?

Id call Hill and tell him there's BIG money for him for a win, great money for him for a podium, decent money for a top ten, and for 11th and below they'll just pay his expenses. See what he says..

Lets face it, even if he only qualified for the main and finished 20th, which would be a huge under-achievement, thats better than not having a bike on the track, right?

Fool me once....

Ain’t nobody taking that risk anymore and that’s a fact.
Too lazy to check, but 250 title 2017?
Look at who has graduated in the last 2 years. Put Hill beside them? No thanks

I wish there were more privateers getting the opportunity for a full in ride that could develop into a listing relationship. Think of the Weston Peick story. We need more of that kind of stuff. What about Chris Blose?

I could be wrong but wasn't Hill linked to Munn racing on the Husky? I would vote for fast Freddie Noren as one of the first to call for any fill in ride.

They are growing massively and not paying their riders? Is this true?

Yes. Baggett is not honoring the last year of his contract because he claims the team breached it - and owes him money.

The team claims that because of the Covid altered schedule and reduced sponsor funding, they can claim force majeure and not pay Blake what was contractually agreed to.

So..... it's a bit of a legal stalemate at this point.

If the team claims force majeure, the contract is now void and Blake is a free agent - and they have a legal foot to stand on for paying 60% of his money. They then have no active contract with Baggett and no obligation to pay remaining funds.

If the team does not win/claim force majeure, technically the contract is still active and they owe him the money.

A judge is needed to make the decision on that.

P.S. - Not a lawyer.... just my armchair assessment of the situation.
