Speedy recovery for him. I hate the guy but hate seeing people get hurt

Poor Mitch. Adam threw away a title and Forkner was in a good position before his off.

DF14 was just in top6 and easily been champion without Forkner making mistake. Lets hope he could come back sometime in outdoor series.

It looked to me like Nichols had the line, and Sexton should have backed it down and not doubled.

No way, watch the video again and you'll see that Sexton was already in the air when Nichols started cutting to the inside.

serious cross jump for sure. He looked right at him and cut across the track. Guessing he didn't know or expect him to triple into the corner.... It was a ballsy move either way, and didn't pay off.

Sexton should have anticipated Colt going for the defensive line. It's racing and these guys are young. With age comes wisdom / race craft.

You can't blame either of them.

Why is anyone discussing the Nichols/sexton incident in a thread titled "Forkner Update?"
This thread is supposed to find out what Austin's injury or injuries are correct?

I didn’t lose mine but was damn close, it happened when I was only 13 so they let me keep it but if I had the same injury now they would almost 100% take it out. I don’t wish that injury on anyone, really hope this isn’t true.

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. Some of the comments on social media saying it's karma are lame, to say the least. I hope he can heal up and make some outdoor rounds.

No shit Karma is maybe someone putting you on the ground or talking shit about you. It's not slamming the ground hard and having your bike piledrive you for good measure. But after the social media commentary I saw the week before when Malcolm worse the BLM butt patch, I'm not surprised. Moto has a strange fan base with old has been guys like me and then angry 20-somethings who think they're right about everything.

If I remember correctly that is what they did when Brian Moreau broke his spine, "Just asking them to get up" and drag him off like a rag doll. So I'm sorry that I have my doubts with the way they handled Forkner when he landed head first into the berm.

So you were on the track with the doctors and Brian? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Nichols knew he was there, he turned around and saw him... and then moved over.

If anything, I'd say it's fairer Chase would have seen Colt look over, and assume it's ok to keep going straight in his line...

I understand if you think Chase should be conservative because of the title situation, but to anticipate cross jumping is to expect something that is a no-no.

I agree with this post. You weren't there.

Those guys check for that.
