He is the only guy since a while who made that YZF450 look good in Supercross and still got a shot at the title.

They better would have re sign Barcia and sign Ferrandis or Mcelrath instead of Plessinger again.

On the other side, Barcia got a great season and will land on a good spot somewhere. I don’t see him as a loser more a big loss for Yamaha if it happens.
Pless is just starting to come around... If he gets it together, he is one of the few capable of next level speed....

This is the best thing that could happen to Barcia. End it before he screws it up or gets hurt, which is what he usually does. On top of that Yamaha is going to have to replace Plessinger. You don't want to replace 2 riders at the same time.

He’s close so yes he has a chance, slim chance though. If there is any type of racing there is a chance of an injury.

It does worry me the Kenny is concerned about contracting something with his ‘compromised immune system’ have never heard him say this before

Plessinger is already signed for next year...and his best has yet to be seen. He'll be better in 2021.

The way Barcia has been coming on, Yamaha is foolish not to keep him on for another year...top-3 finish or not.

Also don’t forget Barcia had a real hard time getting around plessinger in Daytona.. We may be starting to see AP reaching his potential.

If you’re the team manager at Yamaha why would you not keep JB just because he didn’t get top 3 in the series, he still has a huge upside compared to AP.

Crazy how harsh people are on the 4th fastest supercross rider in the world. Barcia has been moving through the pack consistently, all he needs is a start and he could move to 3rd maybe even 2nd in points. Honda or ktm/husky may be better for him too. I would love to see Barcia at the Baker factory.

AP7 is already signed for next year, he said it on one of the race broadcasts (or raceday live)

Barcia is past the point in his career for fixing. No team change will affect how Barcia rides. He's a top 10 guy, no doubt. But top5? Nope. The only reason he is anywhere near the top 5 is because Marvin is out, AC9 is out, Savatgy is out, Tickle is out. All these guys are either better or at least Barcia's equal (Tickle/Savatgy) on any given night.

You're nuts if you think Tickle and Savatgy are up to or over Barcia's level. I'm a fan of both, but when either of those guys are "on", they're top-10 at their best. Everybody is slamming Barcia...and he's fourth place on the season. Those guys would never get there.

If they’re so good then why are all those guys “out” and Barcia isn’t. You can play “what if” scenarios all day long but at the end of the day Barcia is 4th in points and those guys crashed themselves out. Barcia got himself a win this year and none of those other guys did. I’m not a Barcia fan but geez be realistic.
