Maybe just maybe both Party's involved realized that the match was not right and with Dungey being a new dad and all that they decided to end their business relationship without anyone benefitting or losing anything.

I do not think that Ryan is telling the whole truth but I do believe what he said and just left out a few details's.

The fact that he has deleted all Honda related stuff on his Instagram means he is definitely up to something with another brand...
I would say either KTM or gas gas but who knows.

Ever gone back to an ex because “maybe she wasn’t that bad,” then shortly after, remembered why you left? We have a tendency to look at stuff that burned us out with rose-colored glasses over time. Maybe he thought he missed the scene until he was back in, and realized why he left in the first place. I’m guessing the Mrs, who finally got him home all year, wasn’t too pleased having him gone again all the time, either.

You people think so superficially yet so deep with zero information..

He obviously knew what physical demands were required of the job. He was a part owner, I'm sure he wasn't required to be traveling to every race so the "family" excuse I call b.s. he knew all of those requirements from the start.

Obviously, something didn't roll out the way it was supposed to and given his role, I would bet it was in regards to something monetary or personal relations within the circle.

I won't speculate on what has happened because I don't know. But I will say that I was looking forward to seeing what Dungey and Geico Honda together could do. As a fan, I sure hope Dungey stays involved with the sport in one way or another.

Dungey is not a quitter either. He seemed a little out of form in tampa. I figure its just didnt work out in alot of ways. And he could get out, so he did.

KTM is going to field another team with Gas Gas starting 2021 and they trust Dungey to develop the bike and team.

Anybody think that an NDA might have been applied as part of the exit from Geico? So perhaps he may move on to something else, maybe there's a specific timetable before he can do so , and most likely he'll never be able to say anything other than what was agreed on. So walt and see instead of speculating. Although the speculation is entertaining.

I was sure that's what Dungey was doing when he went to Geico. Gieco was either going to become the second KTM team with Butler going to Gas Gas. Or Geico becoming the Gas Gas team.

I heard that he got caught giving GEICO information on the air shock KTM was developing, and now KTM is enforcing the NDA that Dungey signed.










































Totally kidding of course.
My bet is Roger backed up a dump truck full of cash and has offered Dungey the keys to the 250 team after 2020.
