Again also I think Leigh has done his homework. Knew what went down in the off season in Oz and Paris. I do not recall Ralph having this touch.

I thought Diffy did a good job. You'd have thought he'd been calling SX for several years with the job he did.
I didn't feel like they were talking to first time viewers, Leigh asked Ricky good questions and made Ricky better. So, so, much better than the hysterics and ill-prepared blundering Ralph brings.

It's what they would call 'mid Pacific', like they'd refer to 'mid Atlantic' with the Brit / Euro to US cross over - ie : a voice that wouldn't offend some wankers delicate sensibilities........
Diffy, I couldn't stand when he started here in OZ, decades ago.
He then dissapeared, and, then, I'd come across him doing news reads, reportage, and commentary, on various OS channels.
He's got better, since when I found him utterly shithouse. Like you (should) do, with decades of experience - though, Ralph sure as hell hasn't.
RC's getting better - he's obviously working at it. Diffey, I can take or leave him. Ralph, I just want him to leave. Nasty Bastard, ain't I?
Commentary, is, largely, a thankless job - well, other than the Big Bucks I assume they get.

I like Ralph but tonight was good too. Then again i love the sport so I’d still watch if it was In a language I couldn’t understand and Still get 100% enjoyment.
I feel like Ralph would do a better job calling the races solo, like Weedge does for GNCC. I was never a fan of his newbie questions to Jeff and Ricky, and his constant need to compare SX to Nascar is also pretty annoying.
He mixed up names a few times, a few awkward pauses when he didn’t know who was who.
Not sure if he is aware the guys ride an outdoor season, Thought it was great that Brayton did all these off season races and seemed confused as to why everyone else was doing nothing since last May?
Anyways first show of the year is always a little rusty, it should improve.
I’d like to see Jason Weigandt get a 3 race opportunity. I question the reluctance with getting him in the booth for SX ?
Him with JT, Matthes and Daniel Blair alternating weekly and have rider guests now and then.. much better. Hardcore fans like myself will watch it either way so I guess it doesn’t matter.
Ralph has been draggin them down all the time. Diffey is the best thing to happen to this series in a long time for us fans. Lets hope the people with the power does the right thing and extends Leigh Diffeys deal.
