6/22/2020 10:08pm I really hope Osborne carries his current form through to the outdoors. We need more riders in the hunt to make it interesting. The 250 class is stacked with great riders and It's gonna be a close battle for the title. Consistancy is going to win it.

6/22/2020 10:07pm If I remember correctly that is what they did when Brian Moreau broke his spine, "Just asking them to get up" and drag him off like a rag doll. So I'm sorry that I have my doubts with the way they handled Forkner when he landed head first into the berm.

6/22/2020 10:06pm serious cross jump for sure. He looked right at him and cut across the track. Guessing he didn't know or expect him to triple into the corner.... It was a ballsy move either way, and didn't pay off.

6/22/2020 10:04pm LOL, I'm fine. I can handle people coming at me on Vital. At this point, yeah, no one knows anything about Forkner's injury status. I've just got a long life of falling off 2 wheels and watching others fall off 2 wheels, I work in a medical field and have a MD wife, and I'm giving my OPINION on how badly he is hurt. I honestly don't know what people expect? The guy goes down hard and gets carted off, and people want definitive answers on his condition within 2 hours. There will be a team press release tomorrow or...

6/22/2020 10:02pm I suspect we are still in the era where the medics ask the riders "Can you get up and walk?". I don't know the right answer, but I do know that once you've red-flagged a race there is little harm in taking the maximum precaution for the rider's health.

6/22/2020 10:02pm Just a little question: Why don't we put all riders who stay down on stretchers, fully immobilized from head to toes? How many spinal injuries do we need till that becomes the norm?

6/22/2020 10:01pm Webb gave an interview shortly in to his tenure with KTM. Said he learned the first day at Bakers he was doing it all wrong at Yamaha. Said he rode at 60-70% during the week because he knew he could "turn it on, on race day." But his first session at Bakers he was close to 4 seconds on average slower than the rest of the 450 guys. Said he knew at that moment his training and his attitude toward race prep was wrong.

6/22/2020 9:58pm Kinda BS that barcias contract had that 3rd place or leave stipulation. If it wasn’t for him, that team wouldn’t have had any exposure over the last 2-3 seasons. Keep him, cut plessinger.

6/22/2020 9:57pm Besides Barcia the last person to win a supercross on a Yamaha was Bubba. That bike might be good for the average joe but it just doesn’t work for a top pro. Makes me wonder why AP signed an extension with them, I would’ve liked to see him on a different brand.

6/22/2020 9:54pm I know there's already a Chase thread but this is about his PulpMX guest spot tonight. I have so much more respect for this kid after listening to his interview. I bleed Green but I can't help root for this kid as he moves up to the 450's. Not only was he very considerate (thanking everyone who called in to congratulate him) but his attitude and mindset is something I admire. I know from my supermini days in 97-01 all the games and BS that other kids and their parents would play and it really sounds like the Star team...

6/11/2020 9:54pm That's not true mate. Respectfully... Almost all sports broadcasts have Play x Play and Color. This is standard. I've worked on futbol (soccer) broadcasts and specifically as the on-site talent manager and that's continuous action. The PxP & Color seamlessly flow back and forth with PxP taking the lead when action is happening on the pitch and Color fills when action slows down and helps drive conversation / give PxP a breath. This is sports broadcasting 101.

6/11/2020 9:54pm Objectively speaking.... Ralph is beyond awful, and has been for years. No excuse to have him on. I have to give Ricky credit, he's worked hard to get better, and while some weeks are better than others, his trajectory is upward. Well, Practice/Qually was horrific yesterday - not sure what the hell was going on with him.

6/11/2020 9:52pm Tonight I’d forgotten that it was Wednesday and so I’d also spaced that supercross was happening. I was getting ready to go cycling so decided to listen to the race in my headphones while riding my bike. I figured I’d be able to follow what was happening well enough. My conclusion is that these 2 are just straight up objectively hard to follow, constantly confusing riders and saying things that have no relevance. I had no idea who was in what position but I did know that Austin Forkner ran into Ralph at the grocery store I AM VERY THANKFUL...

6/3/2020 8:00am How does this happen to a top pro? He's a complete non factor. He was literally riding around sitting down looking at the leaders lapping him. There comes a point when you wonder how Yamaha feels about paying him. Ya, i get it...."he's a nice guy, don't be a hater"...but dang is he bad.
