I was working at an area qualifier at pro sport mx in Virginia back in the early 90's. I had intentions of trying to qualify for LL'S that year. It was pouring rain and turnout wss way down so I figured I could go ahead and get my qualifier out of the way. All I had to do was finish half the laps of the winner and take the checkered flag The problem was that I hadn't expected to race, so I left my bike 2 hours away. No problem, we had a bw 200 Yamaha we used for running...

All jokes aside, it would be cool to see a Reynolds tubed and chrome-plated frame...I mean, we are talking "British Steel", aren't we? Also, if we're going with British Steel...we probably ought to use some Judas Priest tracks for the commercials...starting with Breaking The Law...

Sold both my 4 strokes this year and bought a new TM 144 this spring (previously posted) and just picked up an 08 YZ 250. Plastics are a bit rough (nothing a restyle kit won’t fix!) but the bike seems otherwise solid. Should be fun! I simply love the 144 and found the 350 boring and heavy after getting off the smoker. I’m really just getting a spare bike so I can take my kid out and we can both ride. Or in case I’m waiting for parts from Italy. This is cheap, simple, and fun.

7/11/2021 10:56am Using SX as a reason to continue piling on the blue 450 is short sighted. Star had just taken over the 450 program. Zero base to go off of in their first season campaigning the bikes. They improved over the season and they have found a lot more in outdoors. Next season is what should be used as a bell...

6/19/2021 12:44pm One aspect that NEVER gets brought to light in these arguments of, one country can do it, so can the US... insurance. Most other countries have protections in place to guard against frivolous lawsuits, both by customers and employees. The US does not. This adds a huge increase in the cost of doing business compared to other economies.

Ive watched metal prices go up anywhere from 60% to 300% since January. I have work on my past due list right now that is 6 weeks old. Why? I cant get material. And the raw metals material shortage...

This^^^ my family owned the original track in Milton. My dad got out of it after 20 years or so in 2010. The Ash family were always super great friends and were regulars at our track and it’s been great to see someone fill that void after we closed.

5/10/2021 5:13pm Depending on color, and what anodizers are close to you. May be cheaper to buy new rims. Also, turn around time. Again, depending on who you use and what volume they run different colors, you may have a one day turn around, it may be 2-3 weeks.
