Racer X did a cool article In their mag about him about 6 months ago.

Can’t remember a ton of details, but it basically goes on to say that he was a huge mini bike hit and just kinda had some injuries and ran out of support. It’s a lot more interesting than I’m making it sound I promise

How does he run out of support? did he not transition to the 125? being from the other side of the world i only had magazines to go by and i remember this ad above like it was yesterday, i would think when your the 1st page ad in a magazine with the biggest gear brand in the world support would be the last of your worries..

Same as many other fast kids. Kid hurt when moving to pros, you don't get a moto win or sx main win within the first year or two and you are passed to the wayside. Parents that mortgage their future for their kids amateur "career" must not follow this sport very closely...

He ran the axtour for years when the Thompsons owned it. Blazing fast in his 30's running with and regularly beating then privateer pro's. Always humble and awesome to watch him race

He was doing great on Honda 250f, cant remember which team, and ended up breaking his leg(s) at Anaheim I believe, it was a crazy on/off over under and after that never could get the support and/or couldnt get the right mind set. He probably had the most talent of anyone I have ever seen on a bike and had the most creative lines. Like many in the sport, if things had happened a little different he could have been a champion no doubt. Not for sure what he is doing now, I haven't seen him at any local track in years.

Last I heard he was still living and working in Oklahoma for a metal anodizing operation. He tried a comeback of sorts about 5 years ago in the pro class, racing the Swan Pro Challenge and other pro-am races. Think he was top 5 but he never did try qualifying for nationals again. Since then he seems to pop up in local results coming out of the OK area on occasion.

Remember watching him on 80’s at lake Whitney back in the day. So fun to watch. Hope he’s doing well.

He was incredible to watch at the AX Tour arena crosses. I'm sure it has happened before but he is the only guy I have seen crash in a pro AX and come back to win.

RC4 was in his way the whole time. That is what happened to him and countless others.
