I'm not sure I follow. I understand the start is critical, but wasn't it less critical last night? Either way, we both got some of what we like this season!

Short laps but a good amount of passes and some bar to bar racing. I really think less "separate the riders" is better.

Never take off your helmet in a fight... I remember watching some guys on road bikes (bicycles) getting into it one night. Everyone had on cycling shoes and I was thinking this is going to be good!

Now thats a good point!

True. But would Anderson care if Ray crashed alone, no. So if Anderson had not jumped towards the center Ray would have crashed and Anderson probably would still not even know about it. The fact that Ray would have crashed on his own doesn't matter.

You're correct. But fan boys will cry foul regardless. Bold move by Anderson getting in Alex Ray's face though. Pretty sure Ray would bury him under a berm...

All "championship" contender types feel this way. They want to win and in their heads it is right that everything be designed in a manner that leads to them winning. Anything that gets in the way of them winning must be wrong. The same track that Tomac ... more »

Question, In those long hot motos are you getting tired, fatigued, or winded? I'm curious how "in shape" compares to "in race shape". Technique is definitely big. I've seen pro MTB guys get wasted on the track when they should be just getting warmed ... more »

Awesome! Thank you very much. I am almost certain it was either Dirt Rider or Dirt Bike.

Sometime between 1990 and 1995 one of the magazines did an article on the best (or maybe top ten) dirt bike races in the USA. I have been looking for three forevers and can't track it down. If anyone remembers which magazine it was or has back issues ... more »

What state do you live in? Please run for Governor and later president. RC is great at calling imminent passes and giving a champions perspective. I would hate to lose that. But... There is really nothing better than W and L announcing. They are knowledgeable ... more »

I think the last thing I need as an amateur rider/racer is for the sport to "grow".

I had "12 ktm and a '14 husky (250ts) neither were comparable to the 2020. I do not know why, just that the 2020 is the only bike that was even close to my '08 YZ.
