To try and rehab my trimalleolar fractured ankle as best and quickly as possible, and get back on the proverbial horse. I doubt I'll be 100% even by the end of '20, but so long as I can ride a MTB, ski next season, and spin some mellow laps at the track I'll be pretty happy.

Oh, and build out a new 350SX-F as my get well present to myself.

Mine is just to be able to ride. I was dealing with carpal tunnel the year before last, and this year I had severe tendonitis in the left elbow so two years now I’ve not even been able to take a spin on the bike.
Like the old Honda commercials, “I just wanna ride!”

To get another bike

I’m with a bunch of you.
I worked more hours/days this year then I ever have re-opening a bunch of ex Orchard Supply Hardware stores as Ace Hardware Stores.
Sold my 17 Honda 450 a week ago.
Buying a TC 250 for something fun to ride as I get my Moto fitness back.
Hit more OTHG races and add some OTMX in the mix and little okie local night races just for fun.
hit the trails on the mountain bike at Hensley Lake.
Then a 21 450 will be in the mix.

I plan to loose some weight. I bought a YZ250F off Craigslist back in the summer after 30 years away from the sport. I spent all summer building working on it in my aconditioned garage, drinking beer like they were going to quit making it having a blast. Gained about 20 pound and was already about 15 pounds overweight. Now I’m so dang fat I can’t button my pants!!!

Taking customers to lunch everyday doesn’t help.

I’m going to get this gut off, loose weight and get back to the track.

I just turned 59 a few weeks ago, been racing off and on since I was 13 years old, couldn't ride much last year because of a neck injury, but have been working out and have lost 15 pounds and getting my 1979 YZ 250 dialed for some 2020 vintage racing.
Have to say I have got some great info from the old school forum. Thanks guys.
I'm really looking forward to some gate drops early next year.

Loose 50 pounds... weight (pun intended) that might not be my moto resolution!

Wash my air filters instead of just buying new ones. There are like 7 dirty ones in the basement and 2 new ones in the garage.

Get my mental game under control, it kills me to think how much it's holding me back yet it's the hardest thing to get a handle on. I race hillclimbs primarily and in each class you only have two runs to make it happen, and you better be perfect from bottom to top if you want to have any chance at placing. It's not like a motocross race where you can make a mistake and still have 5 laps to make up for it, if you get kicked wrong and lose half a second in a hillclimb you can easily drop 5-10 positions or more depending on how tight the runs are. It's a high pressure situation and I've been struggling with it bad to the point where I know it's been effecting my results, so I've already started looking into some things to practice online and some theories on how to get a handle on the problem.

Ride with my son more, he had 2 acl surgeries (each knee) in 3 years so it's been awhile for him. He just got a top end rebuild, new plastic, suspension service etc, he's ready to get back into it so my goal is to help make it happen. Do as many otmx races as I can., Try to give back to the otmx club by helping out at the races. Drink more water, eat better, and dump 20 lbs. That's the same old song I know but I'll be 61 next month and I'm starting to feel like it. I need to up my health game, my body has been talking to me, hopefully this year I'll be smart enough to listen. The difference from 50-55 years old to 60 is...... noticeable. Laughing

I’ll try to go ciclying more & i’ll keep eating healthy stuff like i’m doing from the past 2 months.
My biggest goal right now, is to finish school so that i can go to work and buy a 2020 YZ 125. Currently i’m on a 2019 250f but i’m missing a lot my 125 days!
Fuck my race results, i just wanna have fun🤟🏻

Win some overalls at the local races. Tired of getting beat by sandbaggers. Get fast enough to race B class, not win it but race it. Seems realistic to me. OH YEAH AND RIDE MORE

Get the motor ready and put her on the dyno.

Actually ride, minimum once a week. Bike's been sitting since September Blush

Been on a stress induced crash diet down almost 60lb (don't ask) looking forward to a few laps this spring/summer. Not sure how many races but the body feels better.

One thing that's odd as hell, my back seems worse than ever. You'd think with all that luggage off I'd be like a minx everywhere... nope.
