Bullshit post. Those videos were fucking awesome and were responsible for getting many people out riding dirtbikes. I basically wore those vhs's out from watching them so much. How can you not appreciate the original crusty videos?

On to the topic at hand, pretty lame. I totally get that a teenage kid would go do something like that but a 40 or 50 year old grown ass man looks pretty silly. I feel there is a monumental point in your life that you grow up and reflect back on your earlier years and feel pretty dumb or embarrassed for stupid shit you have done, said or the way you acted. Becoming a dad and getting married made me grown up. I reflect back on my teenage years/early 20's and it's pretty fucking embarrassing. Looking at Larry's instagram, he stills appears to act like a jaded 17 year old kid.

But on the flip side, there were 2 parents per kid and a bunch of hipsters that just saw that and were reminded of why they and their kids are not involved with dirt bikes. We are looked at bad enough just because we ride trails in the mountains and “destroy plants, flowers and the precious California poppy.” We don’t need stuff like this making us all look worse.

We already have the wheelie boys causing trouble for us also. This kind of stuff will never help get more people involved.

Oh no believe me I get your point, I just think I’ve realized that the bottom line is dirtbikes will never me mainstream or even looked at favorably by a lot of people, so why get all worked up over this stuff? I’m not even condoning what he did, I’m just pointing out how rediculously sensitive guys are about what the people think about “the sport”, if people want to hate on it just let them who cares. We’re always going to have land issues and liability issue to fight, this isn’t changing any of that. I’m not going to get all worked up because someone rode a dirtbike on a beach hundreds of miles away, and I think deep down everyone who watched that knows it would be fun as hell to doLaughing
