1999 xr400r and a leftover 2017 rmz450 and put spring forks on it. if i had to buy whats on my mind right now thats what it would be wierd but true.

These are pretty trick. Love the fact they have a wide-ratio trans, 18" rear and a kickstand. Not a fan of the fact that the head is mellowed out over the traditional YZ, but I'm sure the guys in the slimy stuff back East appreciate it.

I’ll take a decision after a test ride. It will be a Red Moto anyway... sold my holiday home in Romania after my divorce so I don’t need a 2 stroke anylonger for tight mountain trails... Enduro stuff over here is flat out wide open so I only need to stiffen up the suspension. 4 strokes ride way more comfortable on hard pack and tarmac, I'm lacking stamina for those bottomless deep sand stuff... it’s mostly hard pack or intermediate these days, use it mostly for MX tho...
a 450R is way to much for me that’s why a 450L or 400 RX.

I have a 19 KTM350 so I would go 18 or 19 KTM or Husky 250 SXF or 450. I said 18 because I would like to try the old frame. After that it would be the 19 YZ250F.

Early 2000's 250 smoker for me. I've got too many other hobbies, so thumpers are a no-go. KTM and Husky have some cool new 2 strokes but I wouldn't be that much faster on those, and they cost two or three times as much.

Well , last month I got exactly what I wanted , which is my 18' TC 250. I have a matching 125 , and also my 06' RM250 project. Sooo....pretty set on the 2 stroke side of the fence.

I wouldn't get rid of any of the 3 bike's I own , but If I was going to add a 4th??......probably a 19' Husky FC250. No four-fiddy for me!

I had the husky350 and now on the rmz. Im happy with the rmz. Also sold the used husky for enough to buy a new rmz...cant beat it.

2019 Yamaha YZ250F

Have been riding the 18 450F this year, I don't ride week in week out anymore, to much time making sure the kid is ready to ride and his bikes are ready to go, 450 is a bit much if you are not riding all the time.

The Yamaha 250F still has enough to haul my but around, but still feel in control after not riding for a few weeks.

Either the blue or the new Yellow 250F would do Smile

Meh, I'd keep what I have....2018 Husky TE-300. Only time in my life I've not had new bike envy. These new Husky/KTM 2-strokes are amazing.

If I was to buy a new 2t it would definitely be a TM.. After reading through Black Diamonds thread they appear to be a very good model that is relatively unknown in the US..

I would probably try and find a left over 2018 RMZ throw a slip on muffler on it and get the suspension dialed.
