Took a 34 year complete absence from riding any kind of motorcycle. Raced fanatically from 74-80. Got my Pro card in 77, got balled up pretty good a couple of times and finally hung it up in 1980 . Met my wife to be that summer and didn't swing a leg over a bike until 2015 . Crazy ? probably. Raced/rode Moto starting in the early 80's through 2005 (when the kids were involved in everything and just no time to ride). Kept all my gear (yes a new helmet is in order), and rode a few friends bikes over the years here and there. Always stayed close to my moto friends, went riding last weekend, and the bug bit me! I have to get another bike, am I nuts at 60+? Rode a few of my friends last model (2017-2020) bikes (CRF450, YZ250 2S, CRF250 and my favorite KTM XCF 250), and decided a 450 is a bit much...

Our bikes have been a blast. We had one issue with the display but found a guy who repaired it for us. We bought a bunch of extra parts on eBay that we have not needed yet. My brothers rear fender broke but found one on eBay and was a simple fix. Overall, they still rip and are a ton of fun. I have noticed a slight drop in ride time, nothing major but a small difference. Also, if you ride hard, put it on the rapid charger, then ride hard immediately after, you might over heat it on a...

Growing up I always wanted black wheels, at the time all bikes came stock with silver. Now I find my OCD self putting extra strong sharpie cover ups on my black wheels. Although my KTM wheels with the matte finish have held up well. I dig the silver wheels on the Gas Gas. I still think a Suk with gold wheels is still the best looking set up.

With Gas Gas running silver wheels is a silver wheel comeback on the horizon?? Personally I'm over black wheels, 50+ hours and half a dozen tyre changes and they dont look as near as nice as a clean, polished set of silver wheels..
