Well, according to dozens of people last week....The 96 should have been parked once he was 7% slower than field or whatever lol. Imagine the crocodile tears from the Honda faithful. This is why you dont make huge changes to the sport based on the "feelings" of some people. All the ideas and solutions that were discussed last week dilute the racing. Nascar has fallen victim to this mentality...they constantly fiddle with the rules to manipulate the racing. Just run the fucking race.

A rider can go off of track in a turn, ride down the side of the whole 70 yard lane missing every obstacle, get back on in the next corner and not lose a position or any time and it's okay, but going outside a single white marker while not gaining a single position and losing time is somehow a full place penalty? The AMA has lost it. That and the Ferry penalty is nuts. Ferry didn't even run him all the way to the edge of the track. There are passes like that every race. Hell Tomac's pass on...

When I first heard this penalty, I assumed he went inside to inside when trying to move up from his 10th place start. The one video clip i saw it looked like He ran over one course marker while choosing a lane. He probably actually lost time. This seems like a bad call.

AMA is a clown show. Won't dock for his creative lines outdoors. Won't dock friese or moranz for getting in the way of a race. Won't dock lappers who gain positions from fellow lappers respecting blue flags.
