Exactly Deegan isn't the cause of why Team USA hasn't been able to send their best team since 2014....he is the result of the failure of the AMA to raise enough to send the best team....and the greed of a promoter on probably the most profitable race of the year...Something has to give and I'm 100% behind the fuckit don't go to create change approach...

Neither here nor there, I am of the opinion that our riders should just tell the event to F.O.A.D. until it's worth it for the teams to attend. The fact that a mountain of money is being made by InFront every year on this event without compensation to offset team/rider costs is criminal. We should just stop going until things change. Period.

As I understand it, $25K is for the bike and support crew per rider. Go listen to JT$ on the issue in the Iron-man thread, he lays it out pretty well. I believe the riders expense is on the rider's dime less whatever they get from the AMA. Something I find interesting is this: Nowadays the promoter makes a fucking bag of cash on this race...and all the while....the riders/teams/participants and EVEN THE SPECTATORS are shelling out more $$$ than ever to attend... Isn't that interesting?

Just stop sending a USA team. This shit is ridiculous. They have taken my favorite race of the year and turned it into a circus. It’s not even fun when we can’t or don’t send our best team. Riders don’t care(which I do get the long season), teams don’t care, and even the other counties don’t send their best teams.

They really should have totally revamped the 65 and 85, and released a 125, instead of the 327. Their 65 and 85 are not competitive. And the 125 market is ripe for the taking with Austrian 125s being efi only. For these reasons, blu cru is really gaining spots on the gates in all those amateur classes.
