7/15/2026 10:15am The rate at which mini dads buy new bikes for their kid racers, id have to think it would worth their investment. The kx65 engine doesnt even have a power valve. And it's ergos are similar to a couch. A modern alu frame, CARBURETED 125 would be an absolute slam dunk guaranteed.

7/15/2026 8:54am One of the top mdra kids we race with also bailed on his Kawi deal. Went to 2023-24 Austrian 85s. Actually I think 2 top kids did in that region.

7/15/2026 7:21am The average rider thats going to buy the 327 is going to be oblivious to the facts that I stated. Which is fine. And im not saying they should not have made the 327, hopefully they continue with other sizes but it looks like they won't?

You are getting downvoted for this but I agree with you. The KX minis are essentially useless at this point. Yes its nice to have a cheaper option but even for local racing a KX65 is literal decades behind the austrian and even the Yamahas. It doesnt make a whole lot of sense for their am program to have basically bikes from 1998 competing against the KTM 85s that are better bikes than what James Stewart won the 125 class on lol.

7/15/2026 5:56am They really should have totally revamped the 65 and 85, and released a 125, instead of the 327. Their 65 and 85 are not competitive. And the 125 market is ripe for the taking with Austrian 125s being efi only. For these reasons, blu cru is really gaining spots on the gates in all those amateur classes.

Deegan gave no respect to riders in 250s that were 2nd or 3rd when he was leading, and now I think that’s actually part of why Deegan doesn’t get respect for a distant 3rd. You don’t get to shit on riders finishing 3rd behind you…and then expect respect for being 3rd behind someone…especially when you talked so much shit coming in to the season. If he were like most other riders in how he spoke about his competition…then people probably would be saying he is doing good. You reap what you sow.

6/25/2026 2:43pm I've noticed that yz85 big wheels utilize a linkage system whereas small wheel yz85s use no linkage. Theres a chance that the bikes I've seen were different generations, im not sure. Hard to imagine the same shock works both with linkage and no linkage

Jett is so comfortable with a rider on his back wheel. Like right on his back fender. Pala '23 Chase was glued to that thing. Hangtown last year Eli stalked him. Everyone got all jazzed up.
