There is nothing historical about this bike, it’s just a stock KX 500 that’s never been rode. I for one never got the obsession for crated bikes. Letting it sit there and rot is a sin.

Its not about sound, the chambers are made for more HP and mainly for more torque. They simulate a longer exhaust. Thats why Yamaha wraps the pipe around the cylinder and not directly to the backend, like Cannondale for example did.

I’m sure there are plenty of dealerships that have motorcycles OTHER than the model I clearly stated I was looking for that they would sell.

I can’t imagine that any “exit tax” would pass constitutional challenges, and they definitely seem asinine at best to nearly all of us. It is worth noting, though, that the proposed “exit tax” would have applied to those individuals or entities with a net worth in excess of $30M, at a rate of 0.4% of value (minus liabilities). Sounds like it’s more geared towards businesses moving their ‘headquarters’ out of state while retaining their property in California, effectively taking advantage of any benefits that they may get by being physically located there but not “contributing” because of accounting tactics that...
