That's true. It's somewhere close to the time period of Yamaha introducing the "mono shock" and the magazine articals trying to convince the public that Yamaha was crazy and one rear shock would never out perform double rear shocks. I guess it wasn't a fad after all. I'm shocked! Lol

I had one. Coolest bike I ever bought......for 5 mins, then it sucked to unprecedented levels. Took a painful loss on it just to make it go away!

Those baggy ass moto pants for like metal mulisha or some shit was dumb as hell.
Having a tattoo on my back saying "Built to Ride" would not fly with my group of friends, just sayin....

P.S., There is no "Leg thing", it's called knowing how to weight your pegs to compensate when hauling ass....

Pivot pegs or the similar power pegz foot pegs that would pivot. Where popular like 6 years ago had a pair and took them off after a couple rides felt they were dangerous for mx use.

I used to race in LBZs for a while, they felt more comfortable to me.

Oh so taking one or 2 feet off in the air and bringing it back by your rear side panel helps get your bike higher huh? More aerodynamic. ?

Think they came from snowboarding, in the 94-95 ish.

LBZ, SMP, Fleshgear, Stiffie, exc all made baggies. I still have 3 pairs of the LBZ ones.

Plus smp, and lbz made videos that are on youtube now. LBZ chrome, and smp disturbing the peace.

I did for awhile but switched over to compression pants and regular socks. Never liked knee sleeves or compression socks that went to mid thigh.

Found compression pants to be the most comfortable setup. Couldn't stand long socks. They'd just end up bunching up in my boots.

Yes, those socks would slide down in your boot and become quite uncomfortable. Folding them over prevented that from happening. Speaking of boots, check out those high point's Roger's wearing. Those where the boots everyone just had to have.

Couldn't afford boot gators when I was a kid and my boots were bad worn out and didn't match my bike. So I cut the bottom half off my fleece sweat pants, turned them inside out and upside down and had instant boot gators. They acted like buffing pads. No chance of scratching anything with the inside of my boots.

Was waiting for someone to mention downpipes. They took awhile to go away. I think a lot of tuners believed they were superior to a twisty up-pipe.
