Forstner is trying to bring them back apparently.

The term “Lites” has gone away, unfortunately for you, the other two things you mentioned haven’t.

I wish "lites" would completely die off...but some people still hang on to it.

What about those magnetic nasal passage opener things everyone was wearing a few years ago? With a magnet taped to each side of your nose and then a magnet in the goggles.

I thought the riders looked so stupid doing walking around with the tape on both sides of their nose.

A couple of things I have seen go away in the last 30 years or so are:

Low handle bars
Levers straight down
Chest protectors
The ability to work on your own bike
I think alot of the personalities of the riders like there were in the 70's and 80's
Seemed like every track you went to there was that one older guy that knew everything, could fix anything
All of the pro series that were in the "off season"
True works bikes

I wish using the word "prolly" on a mx forum would die....It probably won't but one can hope.

Not the magnetic ones but I always found the stick on plastic ones made a noticeable difference

People stick their leg out forward now as they whip. I notice it mostly with the kids coming up like little deegan does it a lot.

Thought it was neat and pretty unusual that Johnny O’s boot covers (gators?) were his look and his alone.

And, he carried it like a Boss! (and then they died)

I'll go with.....

Stepped seats and....

Most things hot pink. I couldn't even find any pics, but back in the heyday of dayglo, it wasn't unheard of to see a CR or YZ out there with a hot pink Ceet seat, pink disc guard and maybe even fork boots. Aaah the good old days!!!

I miss the fins on helmets, also custom painted helmets are still around but don't hold the same value as they once did. Showtime always had the coolest helmets during his career!

Helmet cameras. Hardly see anyone with them anymore. They were a huge hype couple years ago.

Riding a Stock Bike, especially with how good modern bikes are!
This is the best one,.. I was out of it from 2004 until 2012. When I came back I could not believe the amount of money people were spending modding their bikes. This was at a regional championship, the guy that won the 450's was on a bone stock Honda, that was the best part of the day. It was probably the only stock bike in the 450 A class.
