It's a response to poor performance, lack of ROI, and lack of room on roster (expense to haul around equipment for guy not producing)
Basically saying we don't want to pay you right now, we will give you a call when timing is better and you're ready to do better.
Truck hasn't come back to the shop so the bike is still on the truck...no one is filling the spot either, so it's not a lack of room on the roster.

Just to clarify...
"...by taking a cheap shot at a guy who lives through his faith anonymously online."
Are you suggesting it's a cheap shot to say Trey anonymously lives through his faith online? No wait..maybe the point is that the cheap shot taker lives online anonymously through his faith??? Ummm...is it that Trey's online faith anonymously lives...??? Oh nevermind.Whistling

The ironic novel that called you out for what you are? Tell me how it's ironic to call out an Internet tough guy for what he is, saying things he would never say in person because he knows he'd get smacked back into yesterday when the wrong person overhears. I'll be honest, I'm not the guy to ever start conflict, but if you said that in person at a race you know damn well someone who overhears wouldn't think it was as funny as you did. So tell me, why post that stuff on here?

Its not a matter of getting it, as some estimates say that 90% of adults have EBV. Unfortunately, herpes viruses dont go away.

The extreme training that is done stresses the body pretty hard causing the immune system to be more vulnerable. That can provide EBV an opportunity to go from latent to active.
This is exactly right. I have EBV and it's hell. I got it about 7 years ago when I was in the police academy. It was the result of doing too much and not getting enough rest. It's torture for the first month or so and the doctor told me not to do any sort of physical activity for 3 months due to my spleen being enlarged. It sucks and I don't wish it on anyone.

Overtrained (as in not enough recovery time)?
Trained with sore throat or slight fever?
Got a flu shot? (something i would NEVER take, scary stuff)
TWAR?

Could be anything...

Live some, have a beer, eat some junk...

Same here. I had never heard of it until several years ago when some SX/MX racer supposedly got sick with it.

It isn't surprising when you consider how hard these guys have to train. Add in all the travel, disrupted sleep etc. . Bad timing for Trey, as coming back from this in 8 weeks into the brutality of outdoor MX won't be easy/possible.

My college roommate had it back in the 80's. Took him almost a year to get over it. He had zero energy and was always sleeping. He was almost like a walking zombie. EBV is real.

I'm bummed for Trey, but with outdoors only 7 weeks away I don't understand the "chance to get some early testing in" comment if Trey is trying to recover from fatigue. anyway, wishing him the best.

Dude has some seriously bad luck the past few years. I have always loved his attitude and how humble he is and it was great seeing him mix it up in 2011, really thought he would take off from there but wasn't meant to be. Hopefully he can catch a break soon, don't think anyone deserves it more than Trey!

It is all over the fitness and body building community. Especially just before and after shows

I am sure everybody has heard of it because it is, and always has been, very common. It is just that we always used to just call it mono or mononucleosis. Now I guess it sounds better to call it EBV.

I like Trey but he needs to hang up the boots. Has he ever finished a season since moving to the 450's? I mean Honda was nice to have kept him around as long as they did. KTM should have passed on him and picked up Dean cheap before sx ever started.

How does he score a two year deal?
Because he's one of only 6 (7 if you count anderson's 2nd "win") guys in the field that have won multiple main events in the 450 class. regardless of how fragile he is, the potential to win races is way more important to teams than just making it to all the rounds.

This really sucks, I am huge Canard fan. I wish him a speedy return and I look forward to seeing him ride again soon.

Come back to RED.

Eat a dick. You know nothing of the costs of having Trey not race. Do you think they stop paying him? Do you think they're gonna save a dime by not have his bike in the hauler with the others.

You're a troll and should go away. Maybe your next user name will be better. But doubtful.

That sucks. Not his year whereas he was a legitimate top 3-7 pre season, and he is still one for next season. I hope he keeps his ride. Get well soon!

Even if you take his faith out of it, Trey is one of the most genuine nice guys in the sport. I really hope he can get his health issue solved and be ready to come out swinging at Hangtown.
