I agree. The manufacturers get their money, while basically leaving the dealers blowing in the wind. If I was a dealer I'd be more upset with the OEM's practices than at customers not wanting to pay what can seem to be ridiculous fees.

It looked like that EMS service covers a lot of LL qualifiers and other races where there is a high number of youth riders. From what I see at the track there is a much higher percentage of youth riders who wear neck braces, so maybe that is skewing their numbers.

The study is short, and has all the numbers clearly explained. They didn't look at all riders, They looked at every crashed rider EMS had to evaluate over a 10 year period.
