About the only thing that was apparent from this incident is the complete lack of respect a certain rider, that, mind you, was racing for lowly14th place, has for the battling race leaders.

This is so sad. People are upset that when James Stewart checks up the top top KTM riders struggle to pass him. Check it again he brakes harder than normal in the working line corner then did not do the rhythm section hard like as when he is racing for position. MM messes up the Rhythm on his own now wants a scapegoat - Who can we blame because I messed up ? Dungey had no problems passing James because James was letting him pass. James could easily not let Dungey pass is why he got taken out in A1. Check A1 again that is James railing the corner in race mode. Not in this incident , he takes the corner almost perpendicular to the ground. Ie checking his speed ! DOH
No wonder everyone has their pants in a wad. James in Cruise mode and KTM full charge is almost the same speed. I would also CRY about that. Shame lots of tissues and mommy cuddling needed Pro Sx is still little baby and mommy league for many it.

The law is hold your line and let the riders pass ! Not get off the track and MAKE the leaders riders pass. JS followed the rules. Whaaat he must still lick someone else's whaaat ? Where did anyone see that written? Or is SX a sex preference sensitive supporters sport. WTF JS never put out and gave MM a BJ ? How mean can he be we always get BJ's at SX.

My opinion for what it is worth.

JS7 seemed to be continuing to race, even so much as to repass RD5. Thats not what he was supposed to do, you let the leaders move along.

How is being 50 seconds behind and going a lap down in 14th just "James in Cruise mode and KTM full charge is almost the same speed?" Was there a simulcast in a parallel Fox Sports universe that I missed last night?

This guy is smoking crack if he thinks being in 14th being lapped that Bubba was in cruise mode and still faster than the guys that had just put a 50 second lead on him. Where you watching the same race? Oh wait, I forgot, Bubba just decided to start racing on lap 19 .

Yeah, I just don't even get where people are coming from on here. Yard sale after yard sale, sprinkled with days-gone-by championships. The best thing about Supercross and Outdoors is that nobody is on top forever and the money train keeps on chugging along. Watched so many ends to decorated and not so decorated careers lumping into either pretty or train wreck exits. Careers that end driven by egos instead of brains are always the raddest to witness.

Exerpt from the diary of a vitard,

page 14:

The battle rages on, when I clicked this thread, I thought I was standing up for what was right, I was standing up for Marvin, and the rules of the American Motorcycle Association. Now, I'm not so sure. Still, I know what I saw, James should have moved, but this war, its not about blue flags any more, and I begin to wonder if it ever was.

Looking back at the last 13 pages has made me realize something. Its all about Stewart, nothing more, at first I believed I was standing up for what was right, then I realized I was on the side of the Stew Haters. But when I look across the bloody battlefield, all I see are the nuthuggers. I hate my own side as much as I do theirs. But I'm in too deep, I've been quoted, I can't back out now.

Because obviously what matters these days is filling the pits and seats. In the old days after making such a move, he, his daddy and his entourage would've got their asses beaten by bearded dudes with sticks. You certainly know this.

Technically he held his line but it would have been nice to see him pull up and let them battle on an open track (seems more respectful of the guys in the lead).

And your using the word "retard" to discredit and cut someone down is acceptable within your value system? I guess I had people from Portland all wrong or maybe I didn't.

All this technically stuff. Stewart was in the wrong. The man not once slowed his pace down or pulled over the let the leaders by.

I hope a ktm member parks him when he's in the lead late in the race. Nevermind... Stewart will never be leading a race again. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I thought a KTM member already parked him this year ? Oh yea not many people talking about these days right. Let's be honest MM25 is not the stable person on the track when things are going crazy around him. He choked away the lead plain and simple.

Watch it a couple more times. Marvin just caught him at the wrong time and then made a mistake. He was already past Stewart when he messed up that jump.

Dungey got through the exact same situation without any problem.

We all knew people would be on here in seconds to throw Jamesunder the bus.

- Let's just forget the fact that Marvin was slipping up in the laps leading up to this incident.
- James held his line, he DOES NOT have to slow down and let those guy by.
- Marvin slipped up, shouldn't have gone for the triple.
- Had James tucked inside, Dungey could have been the rider to go down

-- Marvin's mechanic is a class act, yelling at James. As if James is really giving a shit about impeding someone's race, The dude barely made it through that race. RedBull KTM's mechanics are really starting to come across as a bunch of cry babies, c'mon guys you are winning why are you bitching. Even last week Dungey's mechanic went and tattled on Musquin for tucking inside and rolling the finish line in practice....then they went and bitched about Canard messing up their swing arm...did Dungey's team even realize what they did to James' swingarm?

I truly believe James' injury is much more severe than he wants to believe. His balance was so far off. Anyone who has clocked their head in the wrong place has probably experienced similar events.

This is incorrect.
If the "Race Director" felt that James was disregarding the blue flag (or impeding faster riders) then they should have thrown a black flag. But thanks for your answer...you sure proved your point with your false statement Smile

4.17 Flags and Lights
a. Solid Blue Flag :
1. Indicates you are about to be overtaken by faster riders.
2. When conditions allow, move out of the fast line.
3. Hold your line (don’t ride erratically) and do not impede the
faster riders progress.
4. Riders disregarding the blue flag may be black-flagged at
the discretion of Race Director.

You seriously can't be this ignorant. You are supposed to hold your line unless you can get out of the way, which he had several opportunities to do so. Way to completely ignore number two and focus on the one section that fits your agenda. Black flags take time to make the decision. One lap was not enough time for them to make the black flag decision, which they would not have done anyway. That is left for severe cases like Chisholm in 09. Even then, it took a few laps for the directors to make that decision.

Wow, can't believe this thread is still going. I haven't read past the first page, and don't think I will. How can this not be in the dumbgeon by now.

GuyB, ML, Scottie, if you're seeing this, it might be time for the moving truck to show up and transport this to the other subheading. Smile
