JasonWeigandt: Here's a hint: He's NOT leaving RCH. Everything is okay. He's adamant dad doesn't speak for him
Should be an awesome work environment with a top atmosphere Laughing .

If he wants to ride a Zook, there aren't too many options open for him ATM. That Elephant in the room is gonna be hard to Ignore though.

"Everything is OK". Yeah, sure it is LOL.

Heiko had absolutely nothing and turned his son into the youngest world champion of all time, winning GPs at the age of 15.

He knows a thing or two about the sport and if some of you know-it-alls had ever met him and spoken to him in person, you would know that he's not just full of shit and looking for excuses for his son underperforming

He brought the suspension guy who worked for him during his 85cc days and you don't do that if you don't have a serious reason I'm guessing.

Hope they can get everything figured out. Nothing against dungey (he deserves every bit of his success) but I personally dislike seeing a KTM win

Yeah, clearly nothing to see here. "Everything is okay" Laughing .

I'm calling BS!

Can't blame the bloke for being gutted he didn't get to break the story I suppose.

"Everything's okay". That's funnier than the "Caitlyn Jenna tits" comment. As usual, I'd rather hear what Langston's got to say.

Tickle's bike is set up so well, he's capable of running nearly 2 seconds per lap slower than Roczen!

WoW 10 pages. Woohoo

It's all very simple and a huge mistake(s) by K-roc three times.

1) He left a team that helped him win a Championship and he rewarded them by bashing the bike later on. Very unprofessional imo.

2) He left Aldon thinking Pops could fill his shoes.

3) He left DeCoster, the Man who knows more about motocross and experienced it more than anyone in the World.

I liked Ken before he did all this. Now I chuckle everytime Dungey schools him. Grinning
So you don't like him anymore because he made decisions he felt would help improve himself? Of course it's easy for you to say otherwise when you compare his last two seasons, but Roczen doesn't need Aldon, KTM or Roger to win. He just needs to be healthy and on a comfortable set-up, then I'll be chuckling when he proves why he beat Dungey last year Smile

I wish Ken could join us, I feel bad for him having to take the heat through all of this. Shoot he and I are the same age and I can't imagine having to deal with all of the crap that is inevitably going to come his way from this, it really isn't fair to him and you know he isn't going to have a second to even gather his thoughts as people attack him with questions from all angles. I wish him luck regardless of what happens.

Edit: BVM just saw your post, you're in too! Haha

Yes, if it's true, what about RC telling the suspension guy, "What did you do? Come over hear on your vacation?"
Doesn't sound like RC wants the guy touching the bike If true...

I think there is a 50% chance that :
Kenny's dad is right
Kenny's dad is exagerating and full of shit

Kenny is making up excuses
Kenny's bike is a tub of shit

RC's priority is the donut shop
RC thinks Kenny is a whiner... and wonders why he keeps calling him with
suspension questions when it's snack time?

That half of us are full of shit!

i get heikos point and i think there is alot truth to what he says but man just zip it. it won't make things easier that way, that's for sure.

bottom line is that kenny is a brand that heiko built and seeing that brand loose his reputation due to factors he can't control hurts his ego.

That, or seeing his son unhappy hurts his feelings. What parent would be happy?

I agree that it's not going to help Ken, but I think his Dad said this stuff mainly with the intention of informing Ken's German fans of the truth about his struggles this year. Lots of people who grew up watching Kenny were probably looking for an explanation for his performances, and rather than his ego I think it just must be frustrating for him to see his son not riding to his potential.

Wasn't a bone stock bike. A well known German suspension guy who Roczen is familiar with took the stock suspension and worked it. The bike had all the usual bolt on stuff such as a pipe etc etc. Ken was more comfortable on it than on his " factory suspension" By no means was the bike bone stock!

The problem is in the original question, rhetorical or not. It's just begs the issue of over involved, and I don't think it's as clear as saying whether it goes well or not. The issue isn't whether the dad is involved, but whether he's controlling

WOW...More drama than a James Stewert thread!Laughing

FTOTP
(fastest thread on the planet!)Laughing

If everything Kennys dad said is even close to true....Im guessing Kenny may have told his dad to go ahead and say what he said to the mag article hoping to get some results from the "incompetent crew".
IMO Kenny hasnt looked happy all season.....I think only Kenny knows the whole truth here,
