The lights were on for both Jo and Pierce, only Jo rolled. The cross flag was shown for Hunter, Eli and co, all jumped except Hunter.

Let’s not forget that there were clear cut incidents, with video evidence, in both mains: red light violations in the 250s and red cross flag violations in the 450s. All previous violations of this nature have been penalised, why not this time? AMA are ignoring their own rule book and setting one hell of a precedent if that is the final result.

There's been a number of calls that ive seen over the years that aren't cut and dry, this situation couldn't be more clear. You dont jump on a red light, Pierce jumped on a red light... What the actual F is so hard to understand, the AMA just has to follow their rules. The rules that dont say, "Do not jump on a red light.. unless you know, you think it's ok".

what the actual F*CK!!! Clear as fing day. Honda has had more red flag violations against them than any other team (I believe) and ate the penalties. Clearly this should benefit them, right fully so and then this?? I wonder if the betting has something to do with it, effecting payouts that already happened perhaps so not rocking that boat? Bull shit either way as it is clear as day.

So jumping on a red cross light is less of an infraction than failing post race sound check, even if it’s caught on video from multiple angles. Absolutely absurd.

Why is anyone surprised by any of this? The AMA is a complete joke and has been for along time. Has anyone ever paid attention to how useless they are at the races. The rule above jumping on a red light is clear as day in the rule book and they are not enforcing there own rules. If not for offering insurance to local tracks why this clown show still have a spot in this sport.

I usually dont weigh in much when the AMA shows their ass. But, holy shit, is this completely fucked. Jo should have ignored the lights?! I'm sorry, what?! Setting a precedent that the riders needs to calculate whether to ignore the red lights in split second instances in the future? Bravo AMA. Bravo

I just can't believe it... They (the ama) have ALWAYS stuck to their guns on this. Its always been "sorry, but this is the rule, we HAVE to hold a hard line on this". Which, at times has sucked, but at least they held their stance.... THIS is when the media needs to flex hard on the ama.

This is simple. Pierce Brown made a pass for the lead when the red lights were flashing and he jumped when he shouldn't have. You're not allowed to win like that. Jo deserves redemption.

They are able to put a green led on each bike to show who's first. Is it not possible to put a red light on the top of the front fender, blinks as they are in section b1 or something like that, when there is a red flag area. It is coded to match a certain area, so everyone that goes into an area, it starts blinking? Jmho.

At least to the end of the timing sections. They already have a leader's light on the bike. Turn the whole section red until everyone on the same lap clears the section.
